I just got a badge saying congratulation that my domain is Google Indexed. So need to move it from subdomain to domain because most of the subdomain is working and adding a few

Really? Seriously that only one is the first one I ever did this. Thank you so much Abie and other did the support and teaching me. It was so struggling trying to puzzle all thinking all my mind. Great shot. Well blog wasn't my great thing bec of blog was like a author writer making a own story but I'm in favor of brander fun thing to do but I probably let's say I guess I will blog an ugly one lol

Yay, wonderful. Super congrats.

So you know, it means that Google found your site, and now is an excellent time to start adding content if you have not already.

However, your posts get indexed, and often days later, down the line, start getting noticed, provided targeted keywords are searchable, and new websites can rank efficiently.

But typically, "authority" for a website starts to get established over time, usually at the 3-6 month mark.

They fluctuate up and down the scale till Google decides where to place them.

Not all posts will get ranked; thus, the recommendation is to keep updating blogs 2 - 3 posts weekly, which is for the foreseeable future.

And just for some clarification.

When ready, you can use the move feature within your site manager to move your siterubix subdomain to your dot com. It is a simple process.

You would need to wait up to 30 days (Kyle's recommendation) for 301 redirects to be completed and for the search engines. After that, you MAY delete the subdomain; however, you could keep it longer if hosting space is not an issue or for testing purposes such as themes, plugins, scripts, coding, etc.

You can check Kyles's training tutorial below.

i dont understand since i published About Me and Privacy Page and went into WordPress and working on appearance then to Menu. I see on left side seeing the Post then About Paul

You first need to create a menu; then, you can add items to it. That's why it is GREYED out.

It's all fixed up. Figured out so now I understand that have issue solved. Thank you Abie

Brenda provided good information.

Larry

She does good job and making lot of ideas that helps other ppls to come up with a 💡 and getting it probably say put puzzle all together from scratch to correct one

here the screenshot picture

It is in the lessons. It explains how to do that Watch the video it's clear what you need to do, you have to set up your menu.

OK i will watch this.. Thank you Brenda!

Sure, you're welcome!

that strange i did what Kyle showed in video, but is that reason it wont work in wordpress if its using siterubix?

It should work the same in siterubrix. I just tried it myself. It works the same way. It will take some time to understand how to keep trying it. Did you pick the Generatepress wordpress theme? Which theme are you using? Generatepress is the best recommendation by WA members.

i picked regular generate press templete. Did you see the screenshot picture on left side that look like discolor gray means not letting me to click but on right side is white does let you click or type in.

The problem is you haven't yet created your menu. Once you've done that, you'll be able to add items to it.

ok, what I was missing was the create into the menu. I can't seem to get it right. My brain is not beautiful. lol
But if Brenda said it doesn't matter if it's either siterubix or real domain.
So I did create Post and Private Page and I used Ai Content and it did fine. So I ask if which is Site Content or Ai Content is simply the same?

Yes, you have to create a menu once you do that, you will be able to see your page and about me after you add it there.

See this website it explains more, It is great for beginners

https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-navigation-menu-in-wordpress-beginners-guide/

I hope this one will help you better than Kyle's video.

Both Site Content and AI Content are just ways to create a post. Alternatively, you can create directly in WordPress. There's no difference. You just end up with a post on your site, which you can edit directly in WordPress.

it seem working ok and its clear in white after i created menu as header and primary click on then created menu

There you go. You got it.

wait a minute.. is post that using site content have to create to post and the privacy policy have to pubish as page? I think i did publish privacy page in post.. how do i change it to page? i totally mess it up

Good news, Paul.

You can search for and install the plugin Post Type Switcher. It allows you to turn a post into a page and vice versa. Yes, Privacy Policy should be a page and added to your header or footer menu.

ok i did install post type switcher and thank you. so figure what i need to do with it? go to apperance to menu?

ok thanks i will try my best.

Go to the post that you want to turn into a page and click on it to edit it.

Look in the right sidebar and find where it says Post Type. This will indicate whether it's currently a Post or a Page. Click on whichever it is and you'll be able to change it to the one you want.

Confirm the change.

Got it.. i understand now i was looking till i found headlight "Post" so its back to Page with Privacy Page

thank you Phil and I appreciate your help. Do you have time that I can ask you one more about getting the subdomain siterubix to a real domain? I already had a real domain name last Wed but want to publish it in siterubix first then get all About Me and Privacy Page in the right place in wordpress.

Congratulations. Well done.

I have around 30 websites but must admit I've never had a Site Rubix sub-domain. I believe that in Websites >> Site Manager there's an option to move your site from one to the other but if you're unsure you might be better off asking Site Support to help.

i understand from your experience is longer than I am since I'm not skilled with anything but just to put on even finding niches and creating it is the first experience. siterubix helps people new to it and uses free subdomains to create and test to see how it goes then if everything goes well move those to the domain. it's like you training people new or never experienced so I'm learning how to do some understanding and training.
How long have you been experienced in those like article, author? it's kind of late since I was over 40 years old and I wish I did way in younger age.

maybe I can go to site support to see what they say about what I posted. see what the idea suggests.

I retired after 48 years in IT so yes plenty of experience.

I understand the value of being able to experiment with a siterubix sub-domain. I was just explaining that I've never had to do that transfer so couldn't give you any experienced-based advice.

It's ok, it's that you are here to explain and teach a thing so I'm glad you are here to help other people just like other people in WA are helping each other. I didn't like many things to write or doing a lot thing stuff but I got to do it and don't give myself up. I need a new experience and want to learn. I used to join in WA a long time ago. I should have stayed in with WA. I believe in around 2008 but someone told me after I understood nothing about WA at all and told me I shouldn't be here and it's not fit for you (me). I was angry at one of person who mentally insulted me so I decided to quit and left WA. So here I come back and do it again. I am trying to support my family's needs etc, plus not just the money but willing to learn and grow together at WA

That's cool; we all try to help you out. Phil is awesome. You can learn a lot from him. I'm sorry for what you went through before. You are here now. We cherish you, and I hope it all works out! You got this! I came in 2019, almost five years here, and still have much to learn. Please don't give up, you hear me.

I'm sorry you had an unfortunate experience but glad you're back and I wish you all the best this time around.

You're too kind, Brenda.

I write the truth as I see it!

Brenda, Thank you for saying it, I sure would love to take it step by step and learn from Phil if you or anyone has experience with WA. It's not a dead end but it lasts forever. I'm pretty confdience with doing it, it's like I had to ask many questions like I did make a mistake in one of Post and Page. But thank you and Phili for helping me out and fixing it. I love to be cherished cos that way I don't leave WA lol.
I better not give up and I'm sure I heard you. It's my first published with sip and savor. I just sent out a message to Site Support and see what they say.

of course she is awesome and kind

Indeed she is!

😀👍

Aw sweet guys!

You are on the right track keep on trucking! I will say good night. It's my bed time now. Take care! 👍😀😀😊

i will do that and getting it all done as soon.. i will let you both know how it goes ok.. Good night! Thanks again

👍

when you have time wake up, I was working on the appearance menu and looked at what Kyle showed but when I noticed simple like Kyle and didn't see "Home"- Custom Link I did not know where it came from.

You can use Custom Link to set up a menu item called Home with a link to your website itself, such as https://mydomain.com. Then add it to the menu and drag it to the top.

Phil, I just received a from Site Support that said to complete in WordPress first with siterubix.com for now then when completed then can move this siterubix to the domain name that I purchased. Here the screenshot pic
This what i added in Custom Link.

Thank you Phil

I need to know since I was creating About Me and Privacy Page on siterubix and during the creating About Me and Privacy Page and I bought buying domain name a few days ago Wedn

You can use the move feature within your site manager to move your siterubix subdomain to your dot com when ready.

You can check Kyles training tutorial below

Thank you, i will look at it but I knew it was the "move" so should I go ahead and publish both About Me and privacy page to siterubix then when it's ready and still can work in WordPress while waiting for Kyle recommendation?

You're welcome :) And as instructed above.
