Having a hard time figuring out how to put a custom header on this bad boy for some reason it is not letting me upload a custom header usually when you scroll over appearances t
Hi - yes I am using a Genesis framework, and a child theme.
As Genesis is paid for - you do realise you have support from them don't you? It may be a good idea to email them with your issue, and get it "from the horses mouth" so to speak, as to what the answer to your problem is,
Cheers, Mark

Hi. Im using Genesis and a child theme on one of my sites. Make sure you have a good look thru the instructions for installing the framework and theme. And I have found studiopress to be fairly quick to respond to my queries. Im sure you will enjoy Genesis, there is some great info and tutorials on the net.
Would be good to hear how you resolve this problem.

Is there any way to convert a .jpeg image into an HTML code with out having to use photo shop?
You can't convert a jpg to html, you use code to show the jpeg. You don't need photoshop at all.
I have an image I wanted to put on the top right hand corner of my header cause my theme has that option but what I didn't see till now was it asks for the html code no option for uploading so I was wondering if there was any way of getting an html code for my Jpeg image?
A .jpeg file extension of an image can't be converted to an html code. You can only resize, and align it in html code.
I'm not sure about the question. A jpeg is an image file that you link to. What you can do via HTMl is resize it by specifying the width and height. You can also align it on the page however you wish, but that's about the limit to how much you can modify the JPEG. What are you trying to do?

Thank you very much lindsey
yeah i found a tab that says theme options
general settings
homepage
header
post
side bar
and footer
ill mess around with it a little, if i cant figure it out ill just change my theme or work with that menu
You can do it simply if your theme allows it. Go to Themes and the see if there is an Theme Options. If there is, you might be able to find a section to change the font/color of your menu.
If your theme doesn't allow it, you'll have to start editing code, or inserting a custom css. This is all complicated, which is why when I wanted to change the appearance of my menu I just ended up changing my theme altogether.
