Spring Time
I love spring. It means the snow melts and one of my favorite colors comes back to the world. I adore the color green. Green to me is creativity, inspiration, and new ideas all rolled up into one. I love spring. I really wish I knew where it has gone this year. It's the middle of April and what am I getting in the middle of the USA?
I really, really want the white stuff to go away. Don't get me wrong, snow is beautiful. Freshly fallen snow is absolutely gorgeous to look at, especially if the sun is shining. I like looking at snow. Being out in it? Not so much.
I suppose it is a bit like business. You have to learn to face the unexpected blizzard when things are supposed to be picking up and going so well. So, I will keep working and waiting for my green spring.
Hopefully soon the temperature will warm for good, and green can finally come back to my part of the world.

Evening Mann's, I agree with you about the long awaited spring and where did it go? It is swinging wide from -3 C overnight to highs of 15-20 during the afternoon.
This freezing hard each night is brutal.
I agree, completely. I hope the plants around my area are hardy enough to survive so I can have my green spring. We're not getting too far above freezing today which bites, but what else can you do with a bipolar Mother Nature?

Hope springs eternal! I thought spring would never get here! It was a beautiful day here in coastal Virginia, low 80's and not a cloud in the sky! A great day to be outside and work on my business at night!.

I'm so glad you got wonderful weather. It's coming for us in the Midwest, it's just taking longer than I want it to. I hope you really enjoyed the weather. If it's that wonderful tomorrow then enjoy it for the both of us as it's not going to get much above freezing here.

We had a summer day today but then the temps dip down to the 40's again. I love the winter but it is time for spring and summer now. No more cold weather I am tired of it enough is enough.

Well, autumn is approaching for us and the beautiful greenery out will soon disappear. It has been beautiful, especially with the recent rains. And now we must shore up for the coming winter which promises to be nippy! I am a Spring/Summer person!

Thank you for the support. I will be very happy when it gets here. I have about an inch of snow piling up outside as it continues to try and give us more.
With autumn comes the riotous blend of colors, which helps to stir the imagination. I hope you enjoy it before everything is blanketed in white, if you get snow where you're at.

I lived in the US for 25 years and I used to love the autumn. I once drove from Columbus, Ohio, during that season and I did not feel the journey at all, thanks to the kaleidoscope of color all the way to New York City, where the dreary grey of concrete took over.
I now live in South Africa, my country of birth. There is hardly ever snow here; maybe once in 30 years.
