1 Year In and Another Month Down

I can't believe that it's the end of May already. Where did the time go? After nearly a decade of doing jobs that I don't particularly like it's different to find something that I adore doing that makes the day just fly by.

Well, I have now been at Wealthy Affiliate for a full year. Some of that year was me rolling my eyes and procrastinating, but these last couple of months have shown that I have the determination to see this through.

I make the promise to myself and everyone else reading this that I won't quit until I have achieved my, well, everything.

I have not achieved everything I ever wanted yet, but I continue to strive and work towards those goals. It's been a year and I have no monetary gain to show for it, but I have more than made up for it by the learning I have taken in here on this wonderful platform.

The training and the people I have met are more than worth the annual price of WA. I am so happy to have met another introvert like myself in CarolMeador, LynneHuy, a master at her craft who has taught me so much, TonyHamilton who gave me the push to jump into Instagram with both feet first, of course Kyle and Carson who founded the platform, Jay who creates the weekly live training sessions that continue to inspire and push me, and so many more that I just can't begin to name you all.

However, it's not just another year here at WA, but also the end of one month and the beginning of another. So, here is my recap for the month of May as well as my June Goals.

May Wins/Not Quites

I did amazing, as far as the goals for my website went. It's amazing to me to see how much time I can put into one project and push everything else to the side.

  • I posted 13/13 articles for the month of May
  • I did 7 lessons, which put me in the upper range of my 4-8 for the month
  • I am indeed 2 weeks ahead in my posting and just in time for me to go on vacation and mess that all up.
  • I did 5 training replays out of a possible range of 5-8, so I just made it.
  • I only went on 2 of my 4 forest walks
    • The weather here hasn't been all that accomodating
    • I also haven't pushed myself hard enough in that direction
  • I did not see any movies this month and I planned on at least 2. Who needs to be social anyhow?
  • I had an amazing experience going to see Wicked at the Orpheum! It was simply magical.

June Goals

I continue to think that these goal lists look the same, but I try to at least change things up a little. Let me know if you start getting bored with these, yes?

  • Post 13 articles on my Working Introvert site
  • Be 2-3 weeks ahead
    • I'd be at least 4, but I'm going on vacation with no internet for a full week. We'll see how long I survive
  • Complete 4-8 lessons from the Affiliate Bootcamp

    • I think I'm coming up on the lesson where I get to focus on my blog and YouTube for 6 weeks so I'm unsure if I will be getting this goal.
  • Watch 4-6 training replays
    • I'm almost caught up with Jay and all the replays he has for 2018
    • Might take a look at what went on in 2017 and see if I can find stuff that interests me.
  • Have my South Dakota camping trip documented in the form of pics and notes and write a blog about it.
    • I haven't gone camping in years so we'll see how this goes
  • Go watch 2-4 movies
    • I will be doing that this month since a lot of the movies I want to see come out in June.
    • I'm going to see Upgraded this Tuesday

Something else that I didn't put down on my official list was start prepping for my new website. It's going to be a book review site and I'd like to get ahead if at all possible so that I can post twice a week for the first month. It would be a little difficult to try to keep up with Working Introvert while also reading and reviewing 2 books a week.

And that's that. What do you think? Have I tried to bite off more than I can chew? What are you plans for the next month?

Wishing you success and happiness on your journey.

Take care,

Michelle/Anne

Hi, manne13666,

Now that is definitely a plan. I wish I could focus as you do. On that note. I will try. And I so have to get my start together, lol.

I've been running into these types of conversations within Wealthy Affiliate a lot today. I know I am on the right track.

I'm learning the heart of a writer. I've always loved to write.

Thanks for posting this amazing post, and what a post it is. It really speaks to my heart, and I have nothing more to say.

Kindly, grateful, and thankful.

Becky

Hello, and thank you for your wonderful comment. I'm glad you've found inspiration from my posts.

I love to write as well. It's a bit different from writing a book and requires an adjustment, but it's well worth it in the end.

Wishing you success and happiness on your journey.

Take care,

Michelle/Anne

Ditto, and I understand. Have a good one, Michelle.

Kindly,

Becky

Amazing, you are doing great! I love to see this sort of progress and it is important to look back at past months and look at what you have accomplished, as well as look for to the upcoming month(s) and plan those out with ambitious goals.

I have found that this sort of reflection and goal setting in business will lead to way more productivity and subsequently much more success!

Thank you so much, Kyle! I'm ready and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed and reach my goals and dreams. Thank you for your encouragement.

Take care,

Michelle/Anne

Michelle...wonderful watching your progress. Seeing your energy and focus gives me inspiration to focus on my goals and aspirations; to look upon the journey with enthusiasm

And I bid you attach yourself to the great collective energy while on your camping adventure. South Dakota being on of my favorite places to visit for the wealth of spiritual touchstones, all grounding and powerful indeed, if you entrust your own voice.

( Here,I might drag out some of my most memorable places and occurrences but rather, I would love to hear of your own)

...remember too:

A camera is not your mind and should you happen upon something so beautiful, capture it there in your heart as it more importantly exists as a moment which deserves honor...to do so, will invite amazing consequence.

I will keep moving forward, meanwhile, having reread your "weekly routine", post. excited about the possibilities we aspire toward.

In Listening, hearing, following...shine brilliant my friend

Bon voyage

respectfully, David

Hello again, David

I'm so happy you are finding such inspiration from my posts. Keep it up and you'll be there soon!

It's been years since I've been to South Dakota, and when I was younger the only thing I really wanted to see was Mt. Rushmore so it will be an experience that I plan to cherish.

It will be nice to unhook from the online world for a little while, but I have a feeling that I will miss it terribly, especially talking to all the wonderful people here.

Good luck and take care,

Michelle/Anne

Great goals. Go get em :)

Thank you! I certainly plan to do my best!
