An epic few days!

Wow the last two days have been epic! But at the end of this, I have an ever better framework for my site, I belong to several affiliate programs (including Amazon of course!) AND I have my first couple of test affiliate links working.
I got sidetracked into understanding internationalizing Amazon - that really took hours to master and I didn't want to do it with a paid plugin....but I figured it out with Associate accounts in every viable country and a OneLink tag in my footer that sends customers to the Amazon store local to their country (that's US, Canada, EU and UK). The bizarre thing is that Amazon Australia ISN'T linkable - so no Amazon sales in my home country with that OneLink arrangement!
All good there since I don't really plan to have Amazon as my only sales point as there are several other affiliate programs that suit my site - just waiting to get the final approvals from ShareaSale and Anwin for now.
Also, we in Australia are used to buying from "overseas" sites, we get seriously ripped off locally for ordinary "imported" goods.....so any Australian customers that get kicked off my (hopefully not too many) Amazon affiliate links will likely just stay calm and put it down to experience.
I'm so excited about where this is going now - a couple of months ago I knew very little about any of this, although I WANTED to know - and now I can see how great this will be for my financial future! My investment in Wealthy Affiliate Premium has been returned already and I'm charged up to finish Version 1 of this site and get going on another site with the knowledge I have now - and I still have more to learn yet!
