What the heck is going on with our pecan trees this month?
I don't know if I mentioned that in the past month we have had to replace our water heater, the fan on our a/c compressor, fix the upper part of our house when a pecan limb fell on it, not to mention the many times my husband blacked out. He's been doing that for the past 3+ years and no one can figure out why. It's very stressful for both of us and quite scary when it happens as he sometimes hits his head on furniture as he's going down!
I have been working part time at my old job getting their files in order. I came home from work last week and found a huge limb from our next door neighbor's tree had fallen in the corner of my yard. It also destroyed the fence of my cattycorner neighbor. The property of the man the tree belonged to was not destroyed in any way! He has said that it was not his fault, even though he knew the tree was not in good shape.
It took me a week, with my step-daughter's help a couple of days, to clean the mess up. Once it was all put on the street for pickup, the guy across the street from me asked if he could get all the big pieces of wood for his fireplace. If I had known he wanted it, I would have let him come in my yard and get instead of me putting it on the street!! We worked ourselves almost to ruining our backs!! That was true, hot, sweaty work and ...such great exercise!! I need to be that active all the time!
Needless to say I have neglected my WA for a while and hope I can get my mind back into it real soon! We REALLY need some more money coming in!!
