My journey so far.and I am still going
So it has been a week since I took the all important step to begin my journey to financial freedom. I call it a leap of faith. Basically I blind folded my eyes and jumped off the cliff of skepticism, self doubt and judgments of all kinds.
I thought I would hit flat face on a hard rock at bottom of that cliff. Instead I was so overwhelmed with the number of people that came up to me to welcome me. It almost distracted my training. I am so grateful I joined this platform. I have done many things in my life and tried to join many groups and I always felt Iike I did not belong. Anyway when came to WA I was met with warmth and so many hands stretching out to help me. I even I have also welcomed other people and answered a few questions. What's on my mind therefore is that I want to thank everyone who has reached out to me, and to say keep up the good work and continue to help the community to grow.
My journey so far is that I became a premium member just two days in. It is interesting however that a week in, I read a post by one of the contributors who talked about three reasons why you should not become a premium member. Before I read it I muttered to myself 'greaaaaaaat! here is the secret of that which I knew before I joined......scam'. It was with great relief that the post had nothing to do with scam, in fact it was very good sound advice. I ended up reading all comments in that blog, taking me away from my training again.
Up until now I have managed to complete levels 1 and 2 of my training. I have not made any money yet because I still don't know how but I had a peak through the next level of training and it talks about making money. So yes I am still excited. I have a website of my own and my niche is related to a business idea that my husband and I are going to start in the next two years. I thought using this as a niche was a great way of researching aspects of that business. I have some ideas about promoting products which are widely available on internet relating to my niche, but as I said I am yet to get to that part of the training.
My niche is on chicken farming. I must admit I do not know an awful lot about it but in this one week I have learned a lot about it. My website is working progress and anyone who visits the site will see that I am a novice, but hey... I will get there. The first big step was to get ranked in google, I don't know how that happened but I did.
My goals going forward are that in the next three months I am not expecting big results in terms of money. Rather I am expecting great personal improvement in knowledge about how to get traffic to my website, how to promote sales of products related to my niche and just being consistent with my business. I will also be working hard on the shifting of my mindset from scarcity to abundance. I love writing, so I am hoping that by six moths I will have posted several blogs on the WA platform and also on my website. I also want to improve on my creativity when it comes to captivating visitors to my site and keeping them interested.
Thank you for reading my ramblings on, but I hope this has encouraged new people Like me that whatever struggles you are facing on this journey, you are not alone.

Congratulations!!
I had the same feeling and overwhelming welcome as well and yes I too was distracted from my learning from all help, tips, and greetings. I soon learned to give that some attention, but to stay focused on my trainings. I feel that is more important. If you don't know anything, how can you help anyone else within the community.
Good luck to you and stay focused!
Very true.
