How Content Headlines Can Effect Your Conversion

First impressions are important and usually you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

At least when it comes to the online world and how your content is perceived…

Having a stellar headline for content is the virtual first impression that I often see missing in people's articles.
Perhaps this is due to:

The push for keywords in the headlines
A lack of creativity
Not knowing any better

Whatever the case may be, I would like to challenge YOU to create more stunning headlines that will draw the reader in and ultimately bring in more conversions.

Where to find inspiration

Look at what you are reading on a daily basis and try to determine what intrigues you to the article(s).

Is it a dangling carrot? (Who's done it? Find out now!)
Are there numbers involved? (Top 10 list)
Do they use the word 'How'? (How to)

You will often find these 3 trending styles of headlines throughout your reading material and I recommend you try one of them for your next article.

When Headlines Go Wrong

On the rare occasion a headline can go awry and end up being completely different than what is aimed for.

Those are awesome Jay. I had no idea that teenagers stopped getting pregnant after the age of 25....very interesting! I also never knew that bugs flying around with wings are flying bugs. Who would have thought?
