Is It Really Christmas Already
It only seems like a few weeks ago I was swearing at my credit card and here it is starting all over again. Huh? Who said I never learn?
At this time of year I think about all those single parent kids who won't get what every kid wants this Christmas. Of course some of those kids are lucky enough to have adults for parents who put their differences aside to make sure their kids don't miss out on the things other kids take for granted.
This Christmas I would hope we all think of those less fortunate than ourselves and do what we can to make their Christmas a little better. Perhaps visit a lonely old soul whose family seems to have forgotten them or drop a gift into one of the many charities for an underprivileged child. Maybe you could play Santa and leave a Christmas hamper on the doorstep of someone you know is struggling
Christmas should be a time of peace, love and joy but for many it is a stressful time and Christmas depression is a common by product. Bringing a little joy and love into the life of one of those people is the greatest gift we can ever give at Christmas time.
I hope everyone here has a loving family to share their Christmas with but lets not forget those who are alone this Christmas. Give a little bit of your heart to someone who needs it.

You are correct about Christmas. It is not about you but about others. It is a time to bring and give joys to others. It is a time of reflection and gratitude for what you have. Christmas is when you can help people that need help and bring joy to people who you care about. Have you ever heard, "it is better to give than receive?"

You are right Ken. I believe The greatest joy comes from giving.
Have a wonderful 2017. Margaret
