I have asked people to guest post on my website for a couple of reasons. There have been a lot of articles around lately about he benefits of guest posting and why it can help your site.
It gives some backlinks and also is good way for people to get more traffic and to increase their brand presence. To me it all sounds like a win win situation for everyone. I have just asked for guest posts on my site and I am hoping that I will get a few posts from people. Guest posting is a great way to network with people.
If you are visible on several sites when you guest post then I would assume you will get some of the traffic that goes to those sites as well as what your site gets. That has to be valuable to most bloggers surely.
I have two sites and would love to get some guest posts on them. One is about parenting and I am sure every parent has a story to tell. If anyone here would like to put post on my I would love to hear from them.
Guest posting seems to be growing in popularity and it could help boost your ranking with google. I figure anything that does that has to be worth a try.
