5 good habits and beliefs to have
I am sure there are many more, but wanted to share this quick overview of 5 habits and beliefs that may help to keep you on track.
1) Know your finances - get clear about your income / outgoing (and debt - do not ignore it.) Then you can make a plan for savings. Do not put your head in the sand or say to yourself, 'I don't need to know about money - that's boring'
2) You are your own Knight in Shining Armour - no-one can give you what you need but you. Talk to yourself, 'What do I need right now?' Be kind to yourself, but accountable.
3) Don't ask the universe to provide - postiive thinking is crucial, but thinking without goals and planning is useless.
4) Be consistent - Things that you do day in, day out bring success.
5) Write down your goals - so important to put pen to paper (or on ipad, Evernote etc) as it helps you be clear about what you are creating.

In general this post was good. I agree with mostly everything that you had to say. It is important that people know what their finances are before starting out so that they don't go into this thinking they are going to start making money immediately. If they are already in debt then they should get into a debt repair program and clean up their debt while learning about saving. I also agree that people should be consistent if they want to be successful. It is extremely important to write down your goals and create a timeline if you know how (or ask someone how to). Your right in that we are our own Knight in Shining Armour (I liked that one) What I wasn't so much in agreement with is #3. I know many people refer to the Universe as a higher power so I will keep it there. I do ask my Universe to provide me with direction, with discernment and with abundance. For me, it is not just positive thinking although positive thinking is a component. If you don't ask, then you will never receive. When you ask anything of anyone it means that you have put some thought into what you need and where you are going. Overall I liked your 5 tips and know that they will help many.
Hi. Thank you for your comment and you are right if you don't ask you never receive. I'll just qualify number 3 a little. Visualisation and stating our intention is powerful and necessary, But you have to take steps and actions towards them. A lot of people think, 'well the universe will provide what I need and if it doesn't then it wasn't meant to be!'
