I'm switching between my site's training and the Boot Camp training - how do I get the training section of the header to switch with me? I'm working on my site right now, but t

What I did was click on training in the left side menu, then I went to "continue here" on the one I wanted to appear at the top and it worked ☺️

I hope this helps for you too!

Melissa

Thanks Franklin, but I'm talking about DIFFERENT training from one thing (My affiliate site) and another (Boot Camp). I'm working on my site now, but the Training meter is still set for Boot Camp.

Once you complete a lesson it should reflect the correct track.

How do I change the training meter on the top menu bar?

First off, I have been writing so much of other things that I forgot the keyword that I chose (I know, pretty stupid, huh?) Can I change to a new keyword? I have found that a

You can certainly choose a new keyword. Keep your post to one main keyword, but don't stress about it too much. Other keywords will naturally just flow out of whatever you write. (Nothing you have to even look into. It'll just happen.)

As Diane says, you'll want to add that keyword to your post title.

Please don't stress too much. It's all a learning curve when you're just beginning. The best part is that you're writing! You're getting it done.

All this will come easier and easier as you continue on. :)

Thank you for the encouragement! It helps to know that others have traversed the trail and are still here helping others. Best Wishes.

Hi - you will need a new keyword for each post you write. The keyword should be in the title of the post, so if you start with that, then you shouldn't forget what it is. Nothing to stop you from choosing a new one as you write.

That's good news. Thanks for the help!

Yes it is. It gets a bit confusing and I tend to stress myself at times going through the lessons.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Is it possible to change my basic website theme?

Hi David, WordPress has a lot of functionality inbuilt, changing themes is one of them.

I see that you are contemplating the cycling niche, one of the things we can do is look at what is in the market place.

A good resource;

https://www.wpthemedetector.com

It will show you what theme and plugins are being used.

We see something we like, we can find out what it is.

Thanks for the great help!

Hi - yes, you have over 7000 to choose from! Log in to WordPress, and go to Appearance, then Themes. If you only see a few, click "add new".

Once you have chosen, click Install, then Activate. Try and pick something clean and relatively simple, to help you follow along in the training.

You can change your basic theme as often as you want. However, I would install a backup before you do so because new themes don't necessarily show things in the same way as your old website. These changes may not be visible before you try it.Another way you can do it is to create a test site in Siterubix and put your new theme on and see how you like it

I personally tried over 30 themes before I gave up and transferred over to a paid one. However, lots of people are happy with free themes
