My Journey at Wealthy Affiliate
I joined the WA community in 2015 after randomly stumbling across the website while scouring the net for something else. Initially I dove right in but soon found other distractions, time constraints, reasons...etc not to put in the effort. I made it all the way to creating my own website but never launched it or published anything. I never interacted with anyone in the community, kept to myself and withered away.
2016 I was non-existent in the WA community, work (my regular job) was exhaustive and never ending, I was being pulled in a multitude of directions and WA always seemed to come last.
Same story for 2017 until about a month ago, something struck me in one of the comments I read on WA. I still checked in from time to time but never contributed or put in any work prior to that fateful comment. That comment opened my eyes and made me realize this wasn't going to happen on its own but it also made me realize that I'm not alone. All of the people here at WA are in this together, they are here to help, to motivate, success is not a bad thing here, it is welcomed and encouraged. It gave me the boost I needed to re-organize my priorities and put forth the effort to do whatever needed to be done to make this successful.
In the past month, I have tried to devote at a minimum an hour a day, it doesn't always work out that cleanly but I give something everyday. In that time frame my ranking has gone from over 14000 to 4400. I have completed the first two courses and am just beginning to enter the very exciting 3rd course on making money. I have launched and published my website and some content. The more involved I become in the community the more excited I am about the opportunities.
Thank you so much to Kyle and Carson for putting this program together. You absolutely cannot find anything like it out there. They have provided us with everything necessary to succeed, the only thing we need to bring to the table is effort. Just a little bit of effort each day and before you know it your success will be gaining momentum at a fast and furious pace. Thank you to all the members who have followed, helped, commented gone out of their way to assist me in my pursuits. If anyone ever needs anything, please let me know and I would be happy to help.
You don't have to do it all on your own, get involved, interact, use the resources, knowledge and experience that is abundant here at WA. You don't have to do it all in one day, one week or even one month. Your success story is only a little bit of effort, each day, away. Small steps turn into great journeys. All the best in 2018!!
Sincerely,
Michael
