Hey WA!

I'm trying to upgrade the website of our family business (allpartytents.be). It's been like that for the last 10 years so it's about time. :)

As I want to w

It's highly unlikely that a website that old is in WordPress. Changing HTML to WordPress can be a bit complicated. But if you want to keep the domain name and create a new website then that should be OK. Submit a ticket to support and ask if they can host a .be website

I am not an expert but I am pretty sure you can do that. You will have to keep the registry active where it is so you do not lose the domain name but like you said change the DNS setting.
If you don't want to start over completely support can help you move existing content files over. If you just want to go from stratch completely new you can do that by yourself once you change the DNS to point at WA.
That is slightly different now that WA is offering hosting here. Did you check WA host for .be domains?
If you start over change the DNS then go to siterubix site builder and click build a new site. Then select a domain I own and follow the steps.

Hope this helps
Stephen

If I try to open my website, (www.passivelywealthy.com), it automatically goes to: "passivelywealthy.com/cgi-sys/d

When I click on the URL it goes to your website!
Sheila :)

See Marion has given you some good advice, I have tried and had no bother in accessing it and the url was just fine

There are a couple of possible fixes:
1) Clear your cache (Ctrl+Shift+Del in Chrome and take it from there)
2) Flush your DNS (type flush dns in google and find instructions for your operating system)
Come back here and tell me it works :-)
Marion

Hi Marion,

The first option worked like a charm so it was fixed in just a few seconds. :) Thanks a lot for the help!
Maarten

You're welcome. By the way I like your domain name - Passively Wealthy - and a dot com to boot. :)

I made a WA comparison with another website from within your affiliate program in links (you can make an actual comparison there).. Once you've done this it says copy and past t

You need to paste the code in the "text" editor, the tab is next to the "visual" tab where you write your post. Let me know if you need a screenshot. :)

Already found the solution but thanks anyway Cathy! :)

Excellent!
