Managing the Flow of Ideas

When I first began my journey with WA finding my first niche was a bit of a brain stretcher. I had to concentrate and really sift through a lot of possibilities before I settled on one that I believed would be successful and dare I say easy to start and manage.

Since those "brutal" few days of indecision, I have found myself inundated with so many ideas...and I've wondered how others have "managed the increased flow of ideas." At this point, I'm keeping a log of sorts with lists of ideas, concepts, descriptions, possible URLs, keywords, etc. I don't want these potential possibilities to escape, but I can see already how the influx of "other" can interrupt, delay and even detour the current task at hand.

How do you manage your flow of ideas, so that you can come back later and not get distracted?

Please share your input and task management strategies, and if this question has already been asked, my apologies.

Kindly,

LP

I've done a lot with lists too. I've also put them into an excel spreadsheet and used check boxes in different columns as a method for sorting by categories. If you don't like excel, keep a list by each category and write it down there. If you write it on more than one list, make a note of that as well on at least one of the lists.
