My first Google Adsense Payment!
am so excited to share that I have just been issued my first Google Adsense payment!
I had some struggles in the beginning getting my Adsense account approved and I was only really interested in having an approved Google Adsense account so I could monetize my Youtube channel....
However since I finally managed to get my Adsense account approved I decided to add it to my websites too a few months ago.
While some people say you can make a fortune with Google Adsense the truth is that without loads of traffic you won't exactly be raking in the millions.
A lot of people have said that Google Adsense is not even worth it since the payments are so low.
I am finding something in between now. While it is not yet a huge income earner it is an earner and it is passive income.... and we all love passive income right?
I am finding that I am making money every day now through Adsense, not a massive amount sure, but it is going up all the time as I add new content.
The point is that when you add this income to your affiliate income, your ebook sales, your Fiverr gigs, Webfluential campaigns .... and all the other little things that I do to make money online.... then suddenly you are making a nice chunk of money online!
Celebrations for me today, as I pat myself on the back for my first Adsense payment.
Oh and the exchange rate is about R13 to $1 if you want to know how much that is in USD.

I was just thinking today, that, I'm actually doing better with online marketing than I was giving myself credit for. Although my affiliate links are not a big money maker yet, I am personally getting a fair amount of business through my personal ranking on Google as a musician. My new site is gradually catching up and I'm definitely seeing progress.

Congrats, that is great news. And yes when you get traffic and rankings there are lots of ways to go about making money!
Oh yes, I like! That's exactly it, as a side income it is lovely. Plus it will keep on increasing as I add more content. One day I will be able to go away on holiday for a month and do no work but still earn through Adsense. Woohooo
Just don't go on holiday to Las Veas. I'm concerned your addictive tendencies might not be a good fit for that place :-)
LOL I am an addict and I must stay away from all mood and mind altering substances and activities. This includes gambling.
I don't think going to Las Vegas will be a problem... my husband has beer in the fridge here and I have no urge to drink it. I don't gamble :)
I can't even remember the last time I had alcohol. It's just not my thing. Las Vegas really doesn't appeal to me either. As an introvert with mild Asperger Syndrome, the noise and chaos would be too much for me.
Yeah I can understand that. I don't focus on WA referrals as much as I work on my mommy blog so I don't think I'll be making Vegas lol
