Question about $19.00 bonus
Hi Everyone,
I 'm confused about the $19.00 bonus price. Can someone help me out here?
Say after their free week is up and they want to be a premium member, what happens, 1 or 2 ?
1: Free week of help, $19.00 for rest of the same month, then $49.00 each month after that.
Or is it:
2: free week of help $0.00 for first month, $19.00 for the next month, then $49.00 each month after?
I'm wondering how it works so I can explain it in my next article. The chart that tells you what you get for free and what the premium membership offers say $0.00 for the first month, So I'm confused about how the bonus $19.00 fits into it all.

My understanding is 7 days for free, then lose communication privileges after 7 days. You can keep one website and the first 10 lessons for six months without paying. If you want to upgrade to monthly before the 7 days are over, the first month is only $19 (a discount and every month after that is $49/month. If you wait until after the 7 days to upgrade to premium, it will cost you $49/month.
Hi - there is no limit on being a free member, it's not just for 7 days. It can last forever. However, after 7 days they cannot communicate with the platform in any way. And they can't contact Site Support even during their first 7 days.
Plus, they can only use their free website for 6 months. After that, if they don't upgrade to premium their website is deleted.

I've read in several places that you only lose the free website if you don't stay active with it. As long as they post to it at least once a month they can keep it forever, if they stop using it, then it goes into park mode and is taken down and stored in case they come back to it later. If that's the case they have to get their site reinstated to use it again. if they don't come back for more then 2 years the site is taken out of park mode and discarded. or at least that's what I read in many conversations about this subject.
Hi - that's not true. I actually asked Kyle about it in Live Chat as many members were discussing it. He confirmed that 6 months is long enough for free starters to decide if they were serious about their business and upgrade to premium. They are sent an email a couple of weeks beforehand to warn them. I actually have a copy of the email that tells them this.

Can you tell me if after their 7 days is up and before they become a premium member if they can ask questions in the comments area or get any help of any kind? I don't think they can, but I want to be sure.
If they can not ask questions or get any help, do they lose their access to the 10 lessons they did as a free member and the comments area that is attached to those lessons?

Hi - no communication at all after 7 days. They can still see the training and read comments. Don't forget the new rules that came into force March 16 - new starters only have one website, not two.
As far as I'm aware Lynne there is no money back guarantee and, personally, the way that entry and membership is all laid out to see I wouldn't expect there to be either.
A person taking a first look at WA can sign up for no money at all and take a whole week to look at it, see what's available, get inspired by the successes of others and decide if it's a good fit for them.
Only then do they have to spend 19 bucks to get full access to all the various elements of the WA platform and they then have a further month to take it seriously and start to create and build a different life for themselves.
Remember, they didn't have to spend a single cent in the first place to get all the information they needed to decide whether or not to spend that first 19 bucks.
If, having spent 5 weeks getting to know all about WA, doing the trainings, building their site etc they then decide to continue with their 49 dollar membership I think they've had enough opportunities to realise if it's for them or not.
Again, remember there are no contracts, members are not obliged to join or stay for any period of time and they can leave and cancel their payments at any time so they get what they pay for as they go along.
Anybody who asks for a refund, bearing in mind what they've had, is just trying it on in my opinion.

The chart that says $0, Is what you get as a free member. And you can be a free member for as long as you wish.
The 7 day access to the 4 benefits listed in the chart, are removed from the free members access after 7 days.

Yep, the use of the comments section goes after 7 days Lynne.
The free lessons stay. So far as I know, there have been no changes there.

1 week free, although I think you can still remain free for longer.
At the end of the free week you can sign up for the $19.00 month. After that sign up is monthly, 6 monthly or yearly.

Free week. At the end of that week the $19.00 month starts. That ends and its $49.00.
OK, So if I understand what your saying this is how it works,
Say they started their free week on the 5th of the month, they would have from the 5th to the 11th as their free week, then they would pay the $19.00 on the 12th and their month of premium membership would start on the 12th. Then on the 12th of each month after that, they would pay $49.00. Is this right?

Lynne, I left a thank you for adding me to your network- and as I was leaving the memory of my brother and his wife who travel a lot in their RV. He started making Walking sticks from some wood he ran across on his travels. It dries and really looks a lot like a cane fishing pole. It has a knot in the cane that was carved to look like a bear face. A hole drilled in the end for a leather strip for hanging or to just look cool. Another leather shoelace wrapped around to make a good grip area. I have walked using this cane for several years now.
The reason for the long story- maybe you could begin to add some mini niches with your woodworking site. The smaller items that one can make would allow for repeated traffic to search for patterns and ideas and make marketing easier on Pinterest to get your visits to make your site rate higher when asking for affiliate memberships. Just a thought. It is difficult being the little guy in the market place but so rewarding to see this change.
