I Am an Affiliate Marketer! Now What?

Indeed "What's on my mind". I actually chuckled when I read that. It was the first thing I saw as I decided to write this blog and it did bring a smile to my lips.

Truthfully, there is always quite a lot on my mind mainly, because I write a number of blogs regularly but at least one daily.

I love writing but hold no claim to being a great writer. Because of my love of writing I do my fair share of blogging. My oldest blog is a Blogger blog where I usually write poetry. Yes! poetry.

The next blog I have I use to do my MLM musings and I call it the MLM Rant. Yes! I do like to have a good old rant now and then.

Added to that I have two Wordpress blogs Lylette Primell Online and Afiliate Marketing Makeover. The latter created recently when I became a member of Wealthy Affiliate

My passion though is Online Marketing and I have spent the last eight years trying to learn how to connect the dots that make it work.

I have been a dedicated Network Marketer for many years, even before the internet. Then the internet happened and everything changed. Those of us from the old school were now forced to learn new tricks.

Change for many of us is sometimes hard, but those of us who are smart learn quickly, and try as best we can to get on board with the rapidly shifting trends.

I have learned the hard way that navigating the internet takes 'hawk eyed" focus. We have to know exactly what we want and go after it with tunnel vision. Why? Because, never before in human history has our senses been bombarded with so much information and sparkly stuff to get "FREE" or buy.

Our computer screen is a kaleidoscope of constantly moving advertisements. Without a clear vision of what we desire to accomplish, it could eat us up in short order and happily spit us out.

Therefore, the lesson we learn after maxing out our credit card on the, "next big thing", is to make a plan of action and stick to it no matter what.

I have learned my lesson well and that is what brought me to Wealthy Affiliate. I came here of my own accord, no arm twisting form anyone, or no sparkly advertisement brought me here.

Firmly deciding to add to what I have already learned about Affiliate Marketing, I found the Wealthy Affiliate website, by doing my own due diligence. I looked at many other similar sites and Wealthy Affiliate stood out above the rest, as the place I felt that I could learn the things I needed to. Especially at this moment in my Online Marketing experience and journey.

The question now is; do I have what it takes to commit to this? The discipline, commitment, patience and drive that is needed to see it through. All I can truly say is, I will definitely give it my best shot, my all and time will have to tell the rest of my story.
