I have an existing web site and would like to bring it into the wealthy affiliate platform anyone know how?
Wealthy Affiliate will do it for free if it's a Wordpress website. Contact support here with your current hosts details (or whatever they ask for) and it should be pretty fast! https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
how do I write the "getting started page" without knowing how to get started?
How about starting with "The purpose of this blog" or 'how you visitors can best explore your website, example " to get the most of the blog, it is best to read the articles by category or from newest to oldest " . Something like that.
You can always modify it later.

You mean you don't know how to get started with WA? Think back to how you got started in the beginning, and what you have done in the courses so far. People basically need to know how to get in WA and what they can expect when they sign up.
Just start! All you need is a few short paragraphs explaining who you are why you started your website. Just start! LOL!
