WordPress site errors

I'm not good with Web development, but recently the WP edit visual mode was not working. I searched online for a solution, but could find anything. I then search for someone on Fiverr.com. Fortunately a certain guy helped at $5 per that gig.

Although, he helped, I did not like certain things. He kept on complaining that he could not login to my site, even though I have given him the login credentials. I suspected that he wanted me to give him my WA login details, where the site was hosted, in order to locate the same. I refused & threaten to cancel the gig. He later told me he could then login, and corrected the error. After the error was corrected I then changed my site login credentials

What I suspected was that logging in to a site does not require much information, he was just taking me for a ride in order to get more information about WA, although he could do so with ease. I'm not saying all of them have the same hidden intention, but for us to be careful about anyone seeking even irrelevant information in the name of "helping a customer with a problem"

Hi Luther, this kind of thing makes us all think who can we trust? Irv.

Trust nobody friend

You are right to be wary :)

Plenty of people out there just ready to abuse trust, but thankfully all WA members I have reached out to and been contacted by have the common good foremost in their thinking.

It's always best to be careful.

Be careful to many scams going on right now.
You did the right thing by changing password

Thanks Pollock
