My Progression Completing Course 3

This Blog is only my progression and my current thoughts. February 23, 2017

My current progression. I am currently off pace from my set goals. How ever I do feel as if I set my goals were set to a very high standard. At any rate I will still be striding to achieve them no matter the circumstances and I feel I have progressed greatly here at WA,

The MAJOR Road Block. Being a 14 year old entrepreneur has major set backs. One major set back that I have encountered here at WA was affiliate networks and affiliate programs. The reason these were such a big issue was because you need to enter your tax information when applying for them.

I was however able to find some affiliate programs that offered all the benefits I wanted and didn't require tax information on the application. Not only that, but with the help of my parents we were able to resolve the issue for now.

My Delays. Many things that seem to Delay my progression here at WA would be my constant fatigue when I get home, Schoolwork, and Distractions. Again being a teenage entrepreneur does have it's disadvantages, but I am sure that many other WA members who work full time jobs can relate to this.

Whenever I get home I want to go to sleep. School can be tiring with each day loading more assignments. It's never ending. My grades are starting to slowly decline and I have been trying to shine more attention on my academic goals. This added attention is now taking time away from my business time and energy.

Distractions take a huge toll on my progression rate. Sometimes I become lazy and want to just hop on my phone and snap chat (social media platform) some friends. Catch up on things. It kind of gets to me going to school and not knowing what's going on around the school, but my friends are great and don't seem to mind explaining everything to me. I know that I want high school to be the most memorable and fun experience of my life, but I have realized that in order for it to be just that I have to invest loads of time, money, and energy into it.

What Keeps Me Driven. Their are many things that motivate me to continue on with my journey. Some main ones are my thoughts/day dreams of what my future will look like if I maintain great habits. Another thought is the complete opposite and this is the thought of what if I completely stopped then what will my future look like? Both of these thoughts continue to drive and motivate my progression here at WA along with a few others.

My Major Discovery Tonight. Tonight I woke up at 2:15 am and could not go back to bed. I went on to YouTube and on my recommended list was this video entitled "Learn This, and You'll Never Be The Same! (Used This!)" I immediately thought it was click bait and ignored it, but something clicked in the back of my mind that it could be useful.

I ignored it, but when I returned to my recommended list it was still their so I figured why not watch it? The video was great. Everything in it was backed up by theories of quantum mechanics and loads of great science. I wont go into to much description as I have already typed an astonishing amount, but the video in one sentence explained. You are what you think. If you think positive you are positive. If you think you will be great, you will be great. It explains how if you ant something to work so bad, it will eventually work out. You just need to plant the seed for this mindset to grow. This law is called.

Use y ou dream to keep you on track. It is a great idea providing your dream is strong enough to overcome the distractions and the tiredness.

Thank you and I will try to do so while staying at a pace that is comfortable for myself.

Luis, your whole youth should be a time to remember. So much to learn, do and experience, but high school is the key to open the doors. Try not to make you grades slip and stay motivated. You sound like you have a great mind, keep it nourished with knowledge.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I have been working steadily to bring my grades up with my lowest grade now being a 92%. Your feedback meant a lot to me and I appreciate it greatly.

Luis, You are quite an ambitious young man! Give yourself a break and keep working at a pace that is comfortable for you. If you need a break, take one. We all have distractions and have to adjust our schedules to fit our needs. You are doing extremely well! Don't be so hard on yourself!

Thanks for the feedback and I will try to find the right pace for myself that is comfortable.

Hi Luis,
As a mother also, I just want to advice you to take it easy. I do understand your habbit that you want to finish what you started and want to achieve your goals, I really understand you. But if you can consider my advice, just give you time to time to rest, it is really important.
Your are very smart, best wishes.

Thanks for the feedback and Ill try to focus less attention onto WA in order to relax a little.

Great Luis, even me, I need to do the same.

Luis: it sounds to me like you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself. You're in 9th grade? 10th? I don't remember. All I know is that when my son was your age (he's 20) he was focused on school work and finding things that interested him. It is important for you to keep up with your school work and not fall behind. The curriculum is going to get more difficult and you won't be able to catch up. What do your parents say? Are they around? While this program is great and can offer a lot of us a way to make a living or at least some extra $$, I have some concerns that you are taking it too seriously at this point in your life. Are you supporting yourself? I urge you to reconsider this. You are exhausted when you get home from school because maybe you are just overwhelmed from everything. You have the rest of your life to work and be stressed. I hope you don't mind that I shared my opinions on this, as a parent. School is your priority!

Thank you for your feedback and I completely understand your point of view. Going into this I had my priorities straight and school was on the top of the list. The thing is though school has been easy these past two quarters. My mistake was joining the debate team at the same time I joined WA. That was what was creating a ton of work for me. I have switched over to less time here on WA and a bit more time on my school work. I have also held off on debating as it is not my main priority right now. My lowest grade is a 92% which I know will raise as soon as retakes come around. I appreciate your feedback it truly gave me another eye opener as to what my priorities need to be. :)

Sincerely,

Luis

Sounds like you have a good handle on things. I wish you luck...!
