How to write a good title.

Hello, I just created this post as a resource for anyone (including myself) looking for more information about how to create better titles. I will update with other, relevant links and information.

- Make your title specific.
- Ensure it is realistic, and reflects what is in the article/blog post. Nothing is worse than when you click on something (say a youtube video titled, "I did my own lip injections", only to find out it is about a plumping chapstick) and you realize the poster basically lied to you (and not only that, they took advantage of you in that they get paid more based on how many people they get through their posts).
- ID what gap the piece is filling. What is being taught/discussed.
- Tammy Metzler (write associate) suggests something along the lines of: How to [Desired Outcome] in [Desired Timeframe] without [Pain/Frustration]
- People like numbers...ex: 3 ways to type 3x faster. As opposed to, how to type faster.
