End 1 month - Check In Progress Report

So, I'm about 1 month in (a month that included recovering from Thanksgiving, Christmas). I've hit a stall, so my #1 goal for the upcoming month is to creating content as consistently as I do seek information (I do this nearly daily, for several hours). #2 is reorganizing (which will be expanded on later).
Training/Accomplishments: I've completed the Getting Started Here/Online Entrepreneur Training Course 1 (all submodules), and submodules 1-8 of Course 2. I'm at a stall on submodule 9 of Course 2 because it is going into analytics of traffic I don't have yet. I also completed the Jaxxy training course. I've browsed the Affiliate Bootcamp. I've signed up for a few affiliate programs.
Plan:
2 week: Flesh out content (and add appropriate keywords) to drive traffic (1 post every 2 days). Create a content calendar based on keywords. Use up all of my Jaaxy searches before my 30 day trial is up. Begin to outline the Affiliate Bootcamp. On Jan 15th, Reassess traffic/relevance of continuing with OET Course 2, Submodule 9.
- Fix Comments on Site1 (business) and Site2 (kids books).
- Rebrand Site1 (see observations for explaination)
- Build Out Content on Site1
- Feedback at least 2 pages, 2x a week
- Comment on at least 2 pages, 2x a week

4 week: (Based on results of assessment) Either continue with content & Affiliate Bootcamp (outlining as I go), or pause Affiliate Bootcamp to continue with Getting Started (OET) Course 2. Continue consistent content creation.
Observations (in no particular order):
- I don't love love the layout of my website, so I will probably play around with that.
- I'm keep hitting snags with my theme/site that are taking time to figure out; Live chat helps a lot, but it is a bit frustrating to be not have a functioning comments sections on my pages, and to have to spend at least an hour to fix every snafu (since I'm so new to the technical aspect of all of this).
- I realized my business site has a competitor of nearly the same name, so I've decided to re-name (and brand) my so-new-its-non-existant-enough-that-this-won't-be-detrimental business site. This will require me to re-do some time consuming work I only recently learned (and I'm not looking forward doing again). I expect this will likely take up the next 4 weeks and will leaving me starting "End Month 2 Check In" in what looks like a very similar place as this "End Month 1 Check-In"
- Outlining the material makes it much easier to reference to replicate the actions with my other sites (I also include timestamp of the most helpful tips on the videos)
- I started out with 4+ sites... Now, my main focus is on Site1 (a business related one), Site2 (very easy, fun one), and getting a passion project (the beauty blog) off the ground [not yet started].
- Learning with Wealthy Affiliate is addicting :) The chat almost becomes like a group of friends in that I recognize some of the same faces on at the same time windows.
- I have a graphic-design online-course that I signed up for (previously) for next month, which I expect will reduce my 'hours available for website building' .....but help make my sites that much better in the long run. Unfortunately, for a very 'goal oriented person' knowing that superficially I will look much like I'm not making forward progress may be hard for me. Gotta stay motivated :)
- I'm currently at 521 in rank and have been between 620 and 520 for a while now. I'd been completing the training, doing a little live chatting, and occasionally leaving comments on people's pages. I'm not too big on following people (because I try to keep the content in my feed low). I wonder if that has anything to do with why I'm not advancing in rank quick enough?
- I bookmarked the feedback page and the comments page... I hope this makes participating in both of those discussions easier.
- Its hard/uncomfortable for me to present my unfinished projects (websites I know are not great looking or filled with content) to the public, I know getting over this will help my site grow quicker, faster as well.
NOTE: *I will post the training outlines for reference in a different blog post*
Thats all for now,
Luck3
