The question, "How long will it take to get Google Indexed" comes up often in chatrooms and looms in the mind of every WA beginner. When I first got started, I had pages I was building out that were taking month to get indexed in google.
Last night I made a website - and less than 18 hours later, it was indexed in google. I wanted to share exactly what I did in that little amount of time, in case it helps anyone else.
1. Changed the DNS settings in a GoDaddy domain name (I already had)
2. Set Up website in Wealthy Affiliate.
3. Uploaded a Theme (and Framework)

4. Installed custom header image, adjusted pre-filled information about the site, adjusted colors.
5. Wrote/Published an About page and one page of Content (with photos on each page). I did not use any keywords, but I did go back and categorize my post (see next step).
6. Made Categories, appropriately categorized my post (previous post).
7. Made any additional pages required for Menus. Set up Menus. (I use my main categories as Menu items).
Thats IT!
Of course, I still have work to do today, but I wanted to share my experience. I know the question comes up a lot in the chat room as well.
I wonder if the quick appearance has to do with the fact that I already had that domain registered for a while (albeit without much content). Anyone have an opinion?
Those of you who are able to get indexed in less than 24-48 hours - What are your steps to success?
