On Writing
Ladies and Gentlemen I have a problem.
And that is: I love to write.
Now I'm not a particularly good writer, I tend to waffle on and sometimes I lose track of the point I am trying to make halfway through a sentence.
Also, I have a habit of using naughty words and boldface in my work which possibly makes it come off like a 15 year old kid's English high school class creative writing piece.
And I talk about all sorts of serious personal stuff so it reads like a notebook from a psychologist's session. Lie down Mr. Sissons!
I love it so much that I have found myself bashing out 500-1000 words every night, but I'm neglecting such blogging essentials as learning wordpress, understanding what keywords are all about or working out how I'm going to actually monitize a blog that doesn't really have a direct relationship to a specific product!
As a result I have a whole bunch of long unpublished blog posts in desperate need of editing. And try to find cool free pics along the theme of "anxiety" and "mental strength". I mean, there are only so many scary dead trees and beautiful sunsets breaking over the freaking ocean I can shoehorn into one site!
But despite this, I still have faith. Somehow know what I'm doing will find an audience if I don't give up, and somehow I know it will lead me down a new and amazing path in life.
Am I delusional? Time will tell but while I'm having such I great time I'm going to keep on writing!
Now if I didn't have that annoying full time job perhaps I could get some other work done....

Just keep at it, Luke! Writing content is the hardest part for many people; if you enjoy it and you can pound out posts like nobody's business, you've already won half the battle!
Then again, if the other aspects of IM get you down, maybe copywriting would be a better business for you? It would be best to keep following the lessons and learn the basics here first, though.

I am really enjoying the training and community, and have signed up for the year so I'm definitely going to be around for a while yet :-)
I figure while the writing muse is strong I might as well take advantage of that and get a backlog of content happening. Of course, no matter how much I write I'm sure it won't ever be enough: these days content is king right?
