Checking In
I just wanted to write a quick blog post today to stay in the habit of writing. It helps to get all of my thoughts out of my head for once. Sometimes I feel like there is so much going on in there! Does anyone else feel like that? Forgive me if this post is kind of disjointed.
Back on the subject:
I wanted to say that I really have been enjoying the training so far. I have made it to Level 2 and halfway through lesson 7. I like that the lessons are not too much to do in one sitting and sometimes if I'm feeling industrious I can handle two or three. I just wish I had more time to devote! I didn't quite have time to write an article tonight which is why I didn't complete lesson 7. I am nervous to be writing some articles that people will (hopefully) be reading but I am also excited to get some content out into the real world.
I'm not sure how much actual writing I should be doing on my website. I have been adding to it gradually as I have time or have something interesting to say. I haven't created any pages yet, only posts, again with the time. Hopefully this weekend will be productive in that aspect.
I'm really glad I'm writing about the subject I chose to start off with. I really thought for a while I was screwing up royally and just wasting my time. Writing about something that is not very challenging mentally has been useful while I'm learning the ropes. I have found out that there were a lot of things that I didn't take into consideration. I want to have a good idea of the type of content I want to do and how to do it right. I want to eventually have a paid domain, but I can't afford that and my WA membership right now.
