My first blog post on my website

I published my first post on my website. It took me a little longer than anticipated. The thing that I learned the most about creating it, is that the last time I actually did something similar to that was back in college. And by the way it wasn't on a laptop. The image that I picked is pretty accurate as to the tool that was used back than. I

The task itself made me realize that my brain needs to be exercised back into shape so research and creating the content in my own words becomes as natural as brushing my teeth. I'm glad that my wife is here because she helped me with my sentence structure.
Growing up in Hawaii and in the islands we speak what is called pidgin English. Basically we form our words from pictures and a combination of different dialects. So writing and articulating on paper or screen can be intimidating for me. Although I figured that through practice I should become more proficient at this task.

The other thing I realized is how easy it is to get distracted by other things. i.e. My wife wanting me to watch her show on Netflix. And once you get drawn into that, you cannot get free from the hypnotizing effect of the show. lol.
