How To Master The Art Of Failing And Giving Up (See How)

Yesterday I was talking with one of my employees and we got into discussing how people never get the things that they want or the dreams that they desire in life. There are just two things that really get people hung up between where they are now. And where they dream of getting to.

These two things that you can fix are so simple and you can make changes to them right away. In fact if you started with the changes after reading this post. You will possibly see changes within the next few weeks if not sooner. How does that sound?

CHANGE #1

What are you placing your focus on? Do you have images or thoughts in your mind telling you to do this. Or do that. And not on what you want?

If you are, then that can really wreck havoc in just your thinking process as to where you want to go and achieve. You have to remember what you are thinking at anytime while you are awake is what really controls the actions that you take or not take.

The way that you take charge of your focus is to either meditate or you can do what professional golfers do to be more focused.

To do this, get a candle or put a dot on the wall, sit in your favorite chair, and put all of your concentration on the candle or the dot. Whichever you use. You will find in the beginning that your mind will wonder. But don't worry about it, just bring your focus back. Do this for five to 10 minutes a day.

CHANGE #2

This is the other element that you know that you have to do. But some of us are just day dreaming and don't take enough of it. This change is called ACTION!

Are you taking action towards your goals? Or are you just thinking about it and saying to your self. I'll get to it tomorrow. You have to remember this saying. "If it has to be, then its up to me!" Nobody else will do it for your.

And your dreams or goals are your own. Everyone has their own part to play in this game.

One more thing about action. You have to take the actions that will move you closer to your goal. Its similar to people who show up to work and don't do any work.

When you are there focus on your goal and the actions that you have to take.

LET'S GIT ER DONE........

So there you have it. The two things that will help you accomplish more in as shorter period of time then anything else.

So let's all jump on this train called life and take it to where we want to go. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Hi Louis,

Thank for this reminder! I believe that sometimes we can become so consume with the obstacles of our live that we forget what's important. Sometimes we can be in such a hurry to get where we want to be but once we get there it may not be what we wanted in the first place.

That's why I always say, trust the process and don't be in a rush to get to anything. Breathe! take in everything both the good and the bad but learn how to take the negative energy from the bad and transfer it into something positive and good.

Everything is energy! But it's how we use that energy that will determine how our lives will go.
