What to do when you're schedule gets out of your control
I waited for this weekend to be able to get some work put in for WA. I had planned to spend Friday night waching Kyle's video, Saturday & Sunday working fully to catch up on things undone - posts, blog, get into chat, contiue training, etc.
But life happens. Our daughter came home unexpectedly for Spring break last Friday. So we spent Friday night and Saturday just being with her because we missed her. Our family was complete again! Our son's Sunday basketball game was announced late Saturday night. I was hoping there wouldn't be any game but there was, at 10:30 am Sunday. The game ended almost lunch - they lost :-( . Feeling down, my son invited his best friend for a play date the rest of the day. So much for my plan...
Times like these when I keep my goals in front of me. What are my "money goals"? My short term and long term goals? These are the things that keep me going, no matter how far behind I get. How about you? What do you do when you fall behind?

Yes I do get situation like this... As you mentioned we can't avoid those things we don't have chance.... So what I will do is I will increase my working hours like catch up in the rest of the days...
I can empathise with you! I had planned to spend Saturday afternoon listening to Jay's webinar (we get it here on Saturday at midday). That didn't happen!
Then my husband was going to take the kids out yesterday so that I could have dedicated WA time. They didn't want to go out!
And today is a public holiday for us, and it seems that I'm looking after other people's kids as well as our own.
Anyway, life happens. My kids are smiling and that's the most important thing. I guess I'll be working when they are in bed tonight :)
I often wish there were a few more hours in each day.
Hi Mia -
I get consolation from this quote by Earl Nightingale:
"One hour per day of study in your chosen field is all it takes. One hour per day of study will put you at the top of your field within three years. Within five years you'll be a national authority. In seven years, you can be one of the best people in the world at what you do".
So if we at least work on WA at least for an hour a day, we will reach our goal eventually.
Thanks for the support!
Family comes first. I just hit it hard when I get a chance to get back to it. There is two days in the coming week that I won’t be able to work on my blog.
So I will just have to try and make up for it when I can.
Don't sweat the small stuff you can always make it up somehow. Family is too precious and more important.
Tried and true
Elaine
