It seems like all we do is write a post - Do you feel the same way?

We've been doing our best to live up to the demands of the SWAGers (to the newcomers reading this, SWAGers stand for Super Wealthy Affiliate Group, a group of WA affiliates who applied and got selected to be part of an intensive training). Lately though, all we've been doing is writing posts, to make the 12 posts required per month. We were set back by a trip we made 3 weeks ago, despite some work done during the trip. We are behind on the training and have been working off the knowledge we learned up to Level 3 of Certification, and Phase 2 (in part) of Bootcamp. The desire to learn is so much there, but there isn't much time for us to do it. With our full time jobs, the time we have left is all we can commit, but that leftover time is, of course, shared with other stuff that needs to be done as well. I'm sure you know what I mean. Every night, we stay up late (currently it's 11:16 pm) to do WA work. Then up again at 5 am to get ready for work. To those of you working full time jobs, do you feel the same way?

My lunch break is spent trying to answer questions in the Activity Dashboard, writing comments to solicit comments, or being in live chat. But even my lunch time is interrupted by phone calls or a knock in my office by co-workers who are oblivious to the word lunch break.

I'm not complaining. Despite everything, I truly enjoy what I'm doing here, and my husband does too. We're here for the long haul. We just want to know that we're not alone feeling this way.

You're not alone, same thing is happening with me. I'm trying to keep up with the Super Affiliate challenges and also keep going with my Bootcamp lessons. But I work on call, and the last week and a half I've been working every day and taking care of my grandson, so I'm behind this month.

Just gonna keep doing the best I can and try to catch up while still writing quality posts. Good luck to you!

Same here. I decided to continue the bootcamp and do as much as possible on the SuperAffiliate. I learn things in Bootcamp that helps me post faster. I am late on the second month. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you too for sharing how you feel.

I feel exactly the same way, not easy I understand that.

I think we all want to learn as much as we can, but it's pretty hard. I guess it's how the game is being played, we all know it won't be a making money quick scheme. I accept it, it's why I keep doing what I can.

The most important for me it's I know what I'm doing and where I'm going and SWAG is definitely a great training, very demanding, but it's for our own good. I've learned so much thank to WA.

But yes I also spend a lot of time on writing contents, it really helps, I write faster now. But I know I have to get back to my articles after I publish them, making them more readable and more interesting. I believe Contents is King.

Good Luck to everybody, no matter you're in the SWAG program or not, there is definitely a lot to learn on WA.

Thanks Calvin! Good luck to you too!

You're not alone, believe me. Although I don't have a full time job, I still have to do something to put food on the table.
I'm also behind schedule, but I will try my best.

Thanks for your post, now I know I'm not alone. :)

Nick, that's the right attitude to have. Keeping up with the demands
Of the family obligations are very imperative. Realistically, you can only produce what you are cable of doing.

Best is better than none!

Best to your success!

Louisa B

At times I feel we're probably not doing enough. Knowing that we're not alone kind of normalized things :-) So this will be our normal now.
Thanks Nick!

Thanks Louisa, much appreciated! I also wish you much success here and everywhere.

Nick

Thanks Louie and Gigi, thank you and yes this will be our normal :)

Hi, I just finished Level 1 and am also time poor.
Hearing that the Super Wealthy Affiliate Group are having to work so hard, still full time jobs, not enough for a healthy 7-8 hours sleep and
Question 1: from the sounds of things doing about 4 hours per day on Wealthy Affiliate and own website articles? (about how many hours per day)
Question 2: How many (rough percentage or absolute number) of people in Wealthy Affiliate have been able to retire from their full time jobs/by replacing that income with the income they earn from their websites (all sources e.g. affiliate commissions from WA or elsewhere)
Question 3: Those that have been able to earn enough to quit their jobs, then how many hours/day on average did they need to spend and for how long in order to get there - as a guide? (as I know some work harder than others etc)

*** I'm asking these because I'd like to know how many years at 2 hours/day on WA/Websites I'm likely to continue to have to do this for
**** AND considering if my wife should do this as a genuine uption as she has just lost her low pay job (A$25K PA part time job)

Hi John!
Q1: Yes we do about 4 hours per day on days we have work.
I don't know the answers to your 2 other questions. You may want to post that as a question to the community.
Thanks for commenting on my blog!

You are not alone, myself and wife feel the same some days. But when we remember it's our long term business then were motivated again and feeling does go away.

Habib and Rani

Habib /Randi, we are all dealing with limited time. There is actually none to work with, so it is quite overwhelmed at times. Balancing your time between work and building a home business can be time consuming.

Best to your online success!

Hi Habibrani! Like you, I'm glad my husband and I are doing this as a team. My hats off, really, to most who are doing it solo

The SWAG challenge does seem like a writing spree at times. Fitting it all in can be challenging especially when we have so many other demands on our time.
Keep at it, it will be worth it in the end.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

I guess you and I think alike. The Super Challenge is a demand
for all to stay alert and try to focus on writing relevant content.

Stay persistent and consistent!

Do your best!

Louisa

i'm sure it will. Without that belief, I don't think we'd still be here. Thanks!

You are indeed on a very intense writing schedule! This too will pass, and you'll have a tremendous amount of content to show for it! Hang in there - you won't be producing content at this rate forever, just during this training. Hold on to that fact!

That's comforting to know :-) Thanks Jeannine!

For sure, the days are long and busy for us, here! Kids, full-time jobs, commute, family and friends, and a range of other obstructions I can’t resolve all at once.

I do what is possible, don’t fret about what isn’t, just yet. In our scenario we will start slow, but finish fast. So I’m at peace with how it has to be at the moment.

Hang in there!

Thanks Ivy!

Are we having fun yet. if not so how?

Oh yeah... we are having fun!
