Hi there,
can you give me a link to the troubled website?
I've just went to your profile and saw your website ghettoseoul.com and if you mean this one, it looks fine to me and everything seems to work just fine.
If you mean a different website, give me a link and I'll gladly check it out. :)
All the best,
Nicole
Hey NicoleJBN
It is ghettoseoul.com. thanks for taking a look!
It's kind of crazy and may be an issue on my side because it's just random pics throughout the site and not always the same ones. But when I check in different browsers on my side the whole appearance of the site changes and not good at all, especially on my mobile devices...also I got a comment saying the same...maybe it was spam? So I'm still confused but I'm glad it looked okay on your side.
Thanks so much!

I'd go with katkatskitchen recommendation and check with the plugin. What kind of theme are you using? Is it a responsive theme (optimized for mobile devices)?
If you see the issue on your side only, then I'd say it's a problem on your end. The fact that you getting comments about this issue may indicate that you do have some issues and may not necessarily be a spam comment.
You may want to check your browsers if you have the newest versions installed. Check your website theme if it's responsive and clear your browser cache.
If you still encounter this issue and you run your website here at WA, there's always the possibility to submit a support ticket and have the techies look at it.
I tried once again and it all works great on my end. I tried it on Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. No issues with all three browsers.
All the best,
Nicole
thanks NicoleJBN!
I use a plugin to optimize my site for mobile devices. I'm not sure how well that's working though.
I think the issue was on my site for the most part but it was also that W3 total cache plugin...even after deactivating and uninstalling it, it lingered so I had support completely disable and I thinks it's okay but I'm going to check with the plugin katkatskitchen recommended.
Thanks again for checking for me really appreciate it!
Lotus^^
Sounds pretty much like the issue. There are many themes out, even free, which are already responsive and work well on mobile devices. Some plugins are just not made to work properly and stable with websites. You may have installed one of them.
Hope it will work out and can be fixed once and for all. By the way, it still looks good on my end. :)
All the best and you're more than welcome!

i am not in favor of a lot of plugins but you can download broken link checker, which will tell you what needs fixing and then delete it
So i used the plugin checked my site and it seems I don't have broken pic links YAY! but I do have some spam comment links...I guess those were attempts to backlink and I should unlink them right? And them I think I'll deactivate the plugin and check maybe every month or so...
Thanks

Sorry for asking again but so far no response^^ Is there anyway to reinstall/ restore my dropbox saved website? I let it lapse but was hoping I wouldn't have to start completely
put in a ticket in the website/hosting tab and someone will help you with this. good luck and welcome back
Tommy
In order to restore from this, all you have to do is upload the contents of the directory to the public_html directory on your server. You can do this via FTP
I was here before and let my account lapse and my site was no longer hosted. So my website lapsed. I backed it up with a wp backup plug in pretty sure and stored on dropbox. Thanks so much!
What plugin/program did you use to back it up. And, You let what lapse? The website? Your dropbox account?
Can i reinstall or restore my website?

Hey All
I was here before and made a lot of progress on my site, got busy elsewhere and let it lapse I backed it up on dropbox and now I'm back... Is there anyway to reins
It can be reinstalled by copying the files into the correct directory via ftp. Unfortunately, the dropbox backup does not save the database. Nor is there a simple restore function for this.

Hello...I use the SUPER SOCIALIZER! Look at mine...myselfiestick.org
You are going to love this...
If you click on appearance in your WordPress dashboard, you will see editor. That will pull up an area where you can see the html. Click on header and insert the meta tag after the first <head>. Hope this helps. Let me know
It did the same thing for me, so I removed it too, and added the "P" button to all my posts instead
I used the Pinterest "Pin It" Button Lite plugin. It just puts a little button on your page/post and you get to choose if it's above or below. It hasn't done anything with my images that I know of
