Watch Out World, Blogger On The Loose!

This is day 3 of my new endeavor on WA and I have to say I have learned so much more than I really expected to when I first took a glance at this platform. Not only am I loving these tutorials, and my inner achiever is always satisfied when I can check the box next to the training I have just completed.

So far, I have established my niche (health & wellness/mobility products), bought a domain, created an email specific to it (and successfully forwarded it), wrote a really great (in my humble opinion) content rich post, optimized my SEO as much as possible at this point, and linked up my G+ account. But I didn't do this all on my own. There has been so much community support! Every time I have a question, I feel like I get a response from someone within the hour and I'm able to keep moving.

Yes there will be stalls and stalemates, but the people here make the difference. in case others need answers to the 2 big stumper of questions that I had, here's some answers.

1. When creating email specific to a purchased domain, you can EITHER create a unique mailbox, OR select the forward email option (where you will essentially create a unique email in the process). But not both. I must have run myself around in circles over this multiple times until I finally got it fixed. I posted a question, got an answer and even more information beyond it which has helped me prepare for some future advanced steps! Yay!

2. For the life of me, I could not log into Gravatar.com to change my profile picture on my WP website. I tried every combination of username/email and password that I could think that was associated with my WA account, but to no avail! I sent out a request for help and voila! the community responded! You must create an independent Gravatar account separate from your WA or WP accounts.

Again, these may sound like simple little things, but for myself as a non-computer guru, they were stumbling blocks that could have slowed my roll as I established my new online presence.

Now, I feel like I can concentrate on what I enjoy: content creation. I really love it! Now, with the power of Jaaxy and keyword searches, I'm on my way into the world of blogging, helping people, affiliate marketing (eventually I will learn this component, just not there in the training yet), and generating revenue.

Watch out world, there's another blogger on the loose and she's unstoppable!

Thank you for sharing,

Yes i know the struggle, I have been there.

Wishing you all the best success. I can see that you will do wonders here at WA.
Jennifer

The struggle is real for so many of us but it's important to celebrate the accomplishments along the way.

Thanks for the kind words and here's to your success as well!
Christina

Thank you and you are most welcome

Yaay! another great she blogger! We need em!

Thank you! I've heard from many members that creating content isn't the part of the process they love most. For me its the opposite! I love being able to share something I love with others (and hopefully make some money at it). Fingers crossed, I will be be able to impact others and even bring some more "she bloggers" to the table! lol

I've had a few of these 'problems' as well.... see, I like to do things BEFORE I complete the full training... LOL.
Fortunately, I was able to back track and make my corrections!
Glad you got Gravatar solved!
Shaunna

Yeah, I might have gotten a little anxious on the Gravatar profile pic and done it before the training, but I've been *trying* to stick to the course of the tutorials. Sometimes, my overachiever-side gets a little carried away lol :)
