you CAN get affliate programs with rubix!
There is a lot of chatter about the big dogs wanting you to own your site and have an impressive .org or .com and its true. they can get thousands of applications and its reasonable that you can prove your traffic and that you arent going to bail on them. That doesnt mean though that everybody insists on it. Some of the startups and smaller ones are actually grateful for the traffic and are not at all snobby about what your website suffix is. so i found this very cool site, you creative ones can market your pictures, fonts, whatever - and the rest of us an buy them there or access the free ones - they change the free ones often so check back with them if they dont have anything you can use at the moment.

yeah guys and dolls, thats my name at the end of that link. it actually is a cool site, and they do have stuff for free - and they will accept newbies and we little ones just starting out for affiliate. yes if you are creative you can sell through them, yes if you need creativity you can get super downloads - and YES you can affiliate!!
So i applied a few days ago, was accepted last night - made one tweet and it tracked as 9 hits (no sales but seriously didnt expect any) in 12 hours.
My point is to think a little wider range when you consider who to affiliate with - yeah it would be nice if they were all major purchases and 50% commision, but lots of trickle down can really be cool too. I have a post about Banff & Jasper - i just spotted a contest for two free nights - added it to my blog, tweeted to the contest host i did so. how much traffic will it get my site - i dont know yet - will it get me an affiliate with the agency - i dont know that yet either. what i do know, if i didnt - i would have neither.
step back and view, step micro and view - if you look, you will find some looking for you. find a few of them....then find a few more. affiliate partnerships are a win/win. how do you not love a win-win?

Great post. I have a Creative Market account and I have earned $4.40 cents so far. I generated $44.00 in sales for them. They give 10% commission. It's easy to share them on your FaceBook business page. Good info Lori.
it surprises me not one bit that you and creative market found each other. they are, for sure, an easy share, and i love that we get to support creative artists in the process - it is the team work that makes the dream work :) :)
