frustration, is interesting
so is how we deal with it. so other than jobs, friends, family,health, traffic and stuff - or because of them all there is trying to build a business within the scarce hours left over. sound like enough? maybe not, lets toss in *rap internet,(yes, that says crap, i just dont use bad language by nature) cranky laptop, writers block with just a few more lines needed, and graphics that just flat out have a bad attitude. enough yet? keep going, power outages, programs that are just *cough*, *cough* let me find the words...monkey poop? getting close yet? oh just for fun, lets toss in loosing several days work because a back up of files went awry. and a fridge that crapped out so i might be grumpy in the next few day from near starvation (no one is going to build a juicer juice or dairy queen within less than an hours drive of here - ever) aaaand my daughter has tried to get a job post at a prison even though her Chinese horoscope says she needs to watch for dark dangers in corners at work - just saying. So just what is an elf to do? little ol' lady, in the middle of b-f nowhere, what do i have for options? i see one, and only one. lock down, focus, and drive hard. it should all know better than to piss me off.
i will email oprah to promote the website for sissys book, i will tweet freaking taylor swift to look at my pajama blogs and i will stalk tourism canada about my opinions of water falls in niagra and my mountains (why not, our dollar has crapped out, we arent going to be holidaying anywhere else this year) and i am going to shout out loud to anyone that an hear me "we can change the future and our worlds if we just get it together" that means not counting on anyone else to do it for us, we do it. that means not counting on the economy but taking control of our economy. that means watching the little spinny thing a lot - kinda like a commercial break, at least i get to go wee now an then.
yes, i am angry, yes i am frustrated, yes i will rock this, and the more stuff that gets in my way the more i will mow down. get the frig out of my way, i am building a future of hope and promise for my entire family. don't piss off little redheads even in the tundra, we will flame right up - lawrdy help the universe when we do.

omg sun, i think i remember that, big shiny thing isnt it? kinda hangs out topside? i think that has a lot to do with it, i love the midnight sun herein the summer, but this time of year....dec 21 is my favorite day of the year, it still isnt light here most of the day, pass the sunshine, and a drink...spring will get here sooner or later i think - wont it?

Hey Lori, keep on with what you're doing, not giving up. The more you do, the more life gets in the way. But to me, that is a sign you're doing the right thing. If life wasn't getting in the way, it is too easy - you're not pushing your boundaries and excelling at it. It is like a relationship in my opinion. If there aren't stormy times, then you aren't really working at it. Progress takes a little grit sometimes but in the end, it is all worth it. Keep on doing what you're doing. It'll all pay off!
its true, obstacles do give us a bit of a boost to keep going dont they? this whole business is quite a bit like being in a relationship, you are so right, and it wil be so very worth it :)
