Stepping Into My Life
Have you ever heard the phrase "living vicariously through someone else"? This is a phrase used to describe a person who uses or views someone else's experiences as their own...An example of this would be a person who feels successful in life simply because they have socialized or been around other successful people...My goal is to step into my own life and be successful because of my own efforts, not those of someone else...I want the people I surround myself with, whether in business or in my personal life, to see that I strive daily to be my best....
As a young child, I always wanted to be like some of the girls who were entered into beauty contests and pageants...After all, what young girl doesn't want to be a beauty queen?...So, when I was grown and a young mother of two daughters, naturally I allowed my girls to be in all the the pageants that I was never able to participate in...This is an example of how I allowed myself to become one who lived vicariously...
Now the girls are grown and living their own lives and I don't want to live vicariously through their accomplishments, or anyone else's...I want to be successful in my own personal and business ventures...I am taking the necessary steps to make this happen...
Some of the key elements I feel are crucial in my journey as a work from home business person are dedication, personal development, and simply being willing to put forth the time and effort it takes to grow a business.... When starting a home business, it must be one that is enjoyable...Otherwise, there would eventually be a sense of dread at the thought of starting the workday...A successful home business must also be taken seriously...It is easy to get sidetracked when working from home, so I believe staying focused and motivated are of utmost importance...Time management is another key element in growing a successful business...This is an area that I am still working every day to improve....
While I am still a "work in progress" I believe with all my heart I am getting a little closer to my goals every day and that makes me a very happy person...Until Later.....

Lori, I love this! You are so right about that...we all tend to want to be things that we can`t be. As a little girl, I could count at least 100 things that I wanted to be and never satisfied with what I was. It is part of our curiosity to want to know what it is like in someone else`s shoes. I urge you to keep writing these blogs everyday and let these feelings flow, and in no time at all, you will be known around the net and your business will bloom. You will get everything in life that your heart desires as long as you keep this attitude and work hard on changing your thoughts to those of someone who already has everything in their hands. I gave you the audio to listen to, do that every morning for 30 minutes and then 15-30 minutes of reading spiritual for 30 days. This is called the 30 day challenge. I will provide you with the material that I have read if you like?? I would like this turn into a habit for you , as part of morning, every morning.
