My First Proposal - YIPPY
Here it is, almost 10pm at night on Saturday, December 7, 2019, and a new journey has just began for me. As I hold these two pieces of papers in my hand I want to jump for joy and also cry. I am overwhelmed and scare to say the least.
On Wednesday morning I called my college enrollment counselor. I asked her if the college has an affiliate program for I build websites and manage all aspects of it. She told me she did not know, but would check into it and give me a call on Friday to let me know.
Friday afternoon rolls around and my phone begins to ring. I answered she told me the bad news. The college does not have an affiliate program, and my heart sank to the ground. They do not know what a wonderful opportunity that they are missing out on that is out there for them to use, so I thought to myself.
After she told me this she said one word that made my heart sore. The word she said and I Quote "BUT" and there it was. A door had shut when she said that they did not, But a window flew opened when she said the word but. There is yet hope to this question I had asked.
She told me to write a proposal and send it to her on Monday morning for the marketing department was interested in what I provide for my services. A glimmer of light became a brightly lit room, and again my excitement began to grow.
As Friday wore on and into Saturday. I procrastinated on even writing this thing. It is new and never before had I ever had to write what I thought would be a complicated paper. I search the internet for information on writing, and any templates out there.
I spoke to many people in live chat and private within WA. All encouraging and much advice to take away. I even ask Jay in the Q & A upon his live webinar. So, thank you my Friends and family from WA, and yes even you too Jay.
Still procrastinating on Saturday night, I finally gave in and began to write. What surprised me is how easy it was to put it down in writing. It flowed like a river and did not't stop till I was done. I made all my spelling correction and add a few things, then saved and printed and was amazed.
For in my hand is starts a new journey in my path and my life will never be the same. I know this does not mean I will get this contract, but the fact remains that I try my best. With this proposal, it symbolizes to me, is if I can do this once I can do this again.
No matter what the outcome might be, I will move forward and JUST BE ME

Lori, it is scary but it is never the less exciting, you walked into the lions den, then looked him in the eyes and said “listen chaps you can’t stop me now, I won’t hurt you but don’t get in my way”
And they haven’t, In fact they actually said “how can we help”
🦁 🤜🤛
Thank You I love how you put it. In fact, I will be writing that down and putting it on my wall
Lori,
Just a few weeks ago Jay gave a webinar on earning recurring revenue from local marketing. The gist was we learn so much at WA including creating websites. performing SEO optimization, conducting website analysis via Google Analytics, plus how to write articles and many more, we could market these skills to local businesses.
You were able to do this with a University you know! Congrats. Here is the link to Jay's webinar just in case you haven't watched it yet. It also gives suggestions what you need to charge for your services. Earning Recurring Revenue with Local Marketing I wish you much success with your proposal.

Thanks, but that is the first or second live webinar I went to and I remember everything he said about it. For after college I was going to start building websites and managing them for people, but I guess I am starting that early lol
