Crisis Hitting Home - Needing Helping Hands

Pandemic is hitting hard all around the world. As an online business owner I have been able to sit here and watch as people are forced to stay home and can no longer work out in the public. I watched as people panic buying all the supplies and leaving those that could not get out in time to get the things they need to survive.

I have seen this firsthand for I myself live in an apartment complex of 34 residents that are disabled and elderly and many are beginning to hurt due to the rising cost of food, cleaning supplies, and personal care products.

Yes these residents get social security checks, but with the cost at the stores going up double to triple many will not be able to afford even basic need. Everything is sky-rocketing, even the utilities. Companies are profiting at the expense of the people and they don't care. The stimulus package that was passed does not include the disabled and the elderly. The rising cost will make many to suffer and hungry.

There is one resident here that is 98 years old and can still live on here own. She is so beautiful, sweat, kind, and a joy to listen to her stories of the past. The history she know's and the messages she convey's with them is so remarkable that you can't help but fall in love with this little old lady that stands right around 5 foot. It would be ashamed to lose someone so wonderful to society just because she could not afford basic needs or food.

Her family does what they can to help her, but she is a stubborn old lady that even though she uses a walker, can't, hear very well anymore, mostly blind, and frail. She is all about doing it herself.

Family and friends can no longer come here due to the company is trying to keep us safe. Only care givers, nurses, med drop offs, and food deliveries are allowed here now. We can only go out to doctor appointments and to get supplies. We are not even allowed to gather in public ares or each other apartments. Social distancing is OK because most of us have every ones numbers and call each other many times a day. LOL

The problem now that we are faced with is surviving this pandemic with all the rising cost and little to work with. So I have made a decision and I am using my CEO/ FOUNDER of my business to plead with the public on Go Fund Me to help raise money so that I can help my neighbors get through all this.

The money will be used for food, cleaning supplies, daily personal care items, food and treats for the assist animals that residents have, and help with rising cost of bills. I do this because people say we are not alone but so far in the crisis I have seen no one come to ask if we need anything. We do need the help, and so I have now used my position to do what I can to help my neighbors and friends/
