Easter Eggs anyone?
I am not a full fledged blogger yet so you can tell I am winging it. So I will just ramble. My kids tell me that I do not relax enough. Which is true. I have a really hard time sitting around or doing nothing. I am a multi-tasker. I do believe it is good to just chill some times. Ones brain does need a brake so that's what I suggest. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself! Winter has had everyone frozen and stuck in the house too much. You have to feed your mind and your sole. Since we are starting our new adventure into financial freedom then we need to give ourselves some freedom in a way that is obtainable right away. I suggest turning off the cell phones, tv, computer just for the day today. Do somethings you did when you were a kid that made you happy. You can think of something, can't you???? Take a walk, sit on a swing in the park, feed the ducks, skim stones, roller skate, get a really messy tasty ice cream cone, paint your toe nails, take a bubble bath, blow bubbles, play Frisbee or ball with the kids, hula hoop, put on music you love and dance and sing...loud! Have fun and be fun. Decompress!! This is by no means irresponsible. This is just a great way to help me deal and work better daily. When you are overloaded, step out of the stress and live! We all get so busy treading water that we forget how to live happy.
I personally am going to turn off everything as soon as I post this. I am going to dye Easter eggs with my kids. I made them a dozen each to color, dye, paint or design however they want. I made one for myself too : ). Then we are going to take a walk, hold hands, play Frisbee at the park. Go on the swings. Yup I go on them too. Most of all we talk with no distractions. We all get to know each other better this way and it brings us closer together. Later after showers and baths we will play a couple board games and read books. Then snacks and bed for my skrubbyheads! I will be a relaxed, happy mom who then gets to become the Easter bunny while they sleep! Maybe I will watch a show that I like before bed with a nice cup of warm tea.
So for the rest of today/tonight I am going to enjoy my family!

Sounds good! What I did for myself for this weekend was I took Friday off. Sat around watched training courses and Jesus series on TV. The best part was being in pajama's all day! Today I feel like my minds refreshed and come Monday Ill be able to deal with the USUAL work related dilemma. Lol;) Have a great Easter w/your family..
