I'm probably like most of you out there, I would just as soon for my success to come shortly after I started out on my journey. I would just want the fame, success, and money to just start rolling in. Unfortunately, all success has normal paths it flows through, it is success through failure.
I don't normally use biblical references but I remember as a child in Sunday school where there was a story that talked was a lesson about how to succeed. I don't remember the story or specific verse but the teaching was about the Lord helping or moving us from mountain top to mountain top. That is applicable to what we're talking about here.
It wasn't that we should only focus on the times we are successful but that is when we are at the place where we can assess our recent past and figure out what has happened and what we need to do next. What it was doing, though, was assessing what we did in climbing up that mountain. It looked at all the struggles, all the places where our path was blocked, all those times when it looked like we were going to fall off the side of the mountain.

We move from one peak to the next. We move from one completion of a failure cycle followed by a success cycle by another. Each time we get to that mountain top, we are a different person and have more knowledge to utilize than we did with the last mountain we climbed.
It was a good lesson for me. I needed to be reminded of that when I'm typing out one post after another and seeing no results yet. I want to type one post for my site and then see all those sales come rolling in. Unfortunately, it's not going to happen like that. And here's another reason why we should be happy about that.
We would have very little in helping others if we climbed one mountain and that was it. We should be happy when we've climbed 5, 10 or 50 mountains because we have way more ways in which we can help those that need our help. So let's keep in eye on that. Let's always remember that more mountains to climb means more ways we can help others succeed.
Here's to mountain climbing!!
