My Earnings so Far and Some Thoughts about Them

So, I made $5.73 off of my 10 9 sales yesterday. I learned a few things after digging into the report.

1. One of the sales was an item I bought and got included then removed from my sales. I dug in and saw it last night when I found the report detailing the individual items I sold.
2. I advertised a few different items. I sold none of those! All my sales were made by people coming to Amazon through my link and then sticking around. This is actually amazing! Amazon is such a impulse buy magnet/ huge "mall" of products that if you can get someone there you'll convert.
3. I can do this. I believe its a simple formula that makes sense:

Targeted Traffic + Good Content = Sales

Not great, just good. I find myself at times stuck wanting to write sweeping epics of reviews when nice and simple would suffice. I think a lot of people getting into this business have a lot of the same hangups:

1. They want it fast and quick
2. They over think and over analyze until paralysis sets in, or
3. They run from one shiny idea to the next, never starting or finishing any until they collapse on the ground convulsing

I've done all three in the past. I think I need to simplify and just focus on writing good content that is targeted. Here are my goals this week:

1. I need to really figure out keywords. I suck at them. I think so far I have targeted bad keywords that have strong competition and aren't
   
   • low hanging
   • long tail
   • working
2. I need to get my review system down and simplify it a bit. I need to streamline it
3. I need to add more supporting content

I'm using Jaaxy to do keyword research, and I watched Kyle's low hanging fruit training, but I need more practice. Anyone have any tips?
