I didn't get much work done today. My youngest dog Duchess had to have surgery to remove a tumor from her eye lid. We just got back from the Vet a little while ago and my poor baby is still so sleepy. She should sleep most of the rest of the evening and hopefully be back to normal tomorrow. She has to wear a cone for the the next week and be restricted in her activity, which is going to be soooo hard for her.

Awwww. Feel better soon precious baby. They hate those cones. I think the cones cause most of their misery. But they go on loving us all the same.
It's always hard that you can't explain that you did this to help them feel better. She'll get it after awhile.
I always hate it when our pets have to wear those cones. Hope she is feeling better very soon and life can get back to normal for her. :)

Poor Duchess, hope she gets better soon. I remember the first time one of my uncles saw my dog with a cone on, laughed his head off and asked why the dog had a bucket on her head. Ever since we've called them buckets in our family!
