A funny thing happened on the way to Wealthy Affiliate (WA)...funny because I am a person who does not necessarily care much for chasing the dollar. What I care about is obtaining that dollar honestly with integrity. Though I have been associated with WA for a few days, I am feeling good about the direction this is taking. Why WA? I retired from the US Navy a little less than 20 years ago and have been employed in at least 10 jobs since. I'm an administrator who often ends up in sales positions. My goal is not to make money for the sake of having more money, my goal is to have enough money to pay off the house and cars and put a bit away with a relatively steady income stream to retire my wife in a couple of years and in 5 or less years for myself. I may be olderly but I want us to be able to enjoy life together before we become elderly. And, I would like to pass some things on to my daughter and grandchildren.
I look forward to this new adventure and meeting, sharing and assisting others. The old saying, "what goes around, comes around," will mean so much more to me when I reach the point of helping others succeed as an affiliate.
There is no such thing as failure unless one does not learn and progress forward (or around obstacles) to reach the goal--the goal is irrelevant unless the goal is to harm others then the goal should never be realized.
Quote I like: "One is glad to be of service."
