Will you cash in on the Royal Baby?!
As we wait with baited breath for the arrival of the Royal Baby,
business owners should be asking themselves how they can benefit from the
arrival of the new born Prince or Princess. So how can you cash in on the Royal
Baby?
The first child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince
William and Kate Middleton) is due any day now and the worlds’ press has been
camped outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington London for
several days. However with the Duchess reportedly relaxing at her parents’ home
in Bucklebury, Berkshire contingency arrangements are said to be in place for a
delivery at The Royal Berkshire Hospital – are The Press in the wrong place?!
When the happy day arrives an estimated £243m ($370) will be
spent in Britain alone on parties, memorabilia, books, toys & gifts. So
your challenge is to think of ways your business can benefit. This will be
easier for some businesses than others.
For example if you make and sell cupcakes you should be planning
now to promote a special Royal Baby range to your existing customers but also
via Facebook, Twitter and any other social media you may use. You can also
contact your local press as they will be looking for local Royal baby stories.
But just about any business can take advantage of this happy occasion. Perhaps
you are a dance instructor and need to increase awareness of your classes; you
may wonder how you could benefit. Well how about this – simply have a Guess The
Name Of The Royal Baby competition, everyone who enters will have to opt in to your
mailing list so that you can inform subscribers events and courses; use social media to promote your competition. The prize can of course be anything you like.
If you have a website (and I can’t think of a business that
wouldn’t benefit from one) you could
write a blog & articles to increase traffic. You could even use your website
to review other products related to your business but are unable to supply.

Hi Caylin thanks for your comments. I installed all in one SEO when I first created the site and have now linked the site to Google analytics - this will work on the blog too right? The banner is my next step
liz, even after you install a plugin, one must activate it. Once you link google script with your id to the first page, the google bot will travel through all your content.
Now just like everything we do, it doesn't happen overnight, give the bot a couple of days. ^_~Glad I could help.

Have you activated the All-in-One-SEO on your site? Open an account with Google Analytics and embedded the script? You need these to track your blog page. G+ and gmail synced? Am with tommy on the bottom banner or even a right bar widget to click on?
Nice little piece here just a suggestion on your link free advice to your webpage is good but it would help you a whole lot if you put a WA banner on your site so they can have one to click on and maybe get you some sign-ups
