Hi all,
Yes, at the beginning of last years update in March 2023, I did remove a lot of roundup reviews, that didn't get ranked at all on Google, as they were holding my traffic back in general.
And during THAT time , back THEN, this helped!
BUT NOW, I won't be doing that anymore, at all.
First, Google doesn't care anymore about what I do, in the first place, after the September update and now the march update.

So what WILL I do? I will KEEP 'non-performing blog posts', according to Google.
In my case, this would mean, all my interviews with real miniature artists on my blog, who I actually interviewed and got permission to use their pictures and they send me their pictures, so I'd say quite unique AND MY ACTUAL AUDIENCE IS QUITE INTERESTED IN THESE!
I know this for a fact, because showing these pictures on Pinterest and linking to the interviews, get a LOT MORE TRACTION THEN FROM GOOGLE (like non,for Google, these aren't interesting!
I say, just deindex these post on your blog, cause Google doesn't care about them anyway, but DONT DELETE them, as you can still use them for your social traffic!
As said here a few times before, and I don't understand why this keeps getting ignored, traffic from Google will keep decreasing and just be one of those sources where you will still get traffic from, but not anymore as much as before. Unless the next core update will again change things around, but that is far-off future, we just don't know!
Saying something like "I still use google Lizzy", well yes, most of us still do, but that doesn't mean that your small niche will be on top no more with your blog post, the chances are rather higher at the moment that you will rank in the first positions with a post of yours on Reddit, Pinterest, etc platform.
(and yes, I have seen this several times in my own niche)
Just my 2 cents!
Lizzy
