The Power of the Mind

I am currently involved in a meditation challenge by Deepak Chopra called “Become What You Believe,” which discusses the power of our mind and preaches eliminating negative self beliefs that sabotage our lives and keep us from living our dreams and fulfilling our purpose. I am only in week one of the challenge and I can’t believe how negative my thoughts were before starting the challenge. I let fear invade my life and I made excuses for not taking risks, which resulted in my life staying the same. I wasn’t moving further, instead I was trapped in the same dungeon of hell.

There’s a quote that states that living the same way and expecting different results is considered insanity, and I definitely agree with that statement. How can we move from a place of doubt, insecurity and debt if we don’t change the way we think? If we don’t believe in ourselves, how do we expect our customers to believe in the content we write, and how do we expect to see conversions on our website when we assume that we will miserably fail?

I am no affiliate marketing guru and I will humbly say that I have plenty to learn and I have a way to go in terms of reaching financial freedom, but what I can confidently say is that success begins with your mindset and whether you put limits on your journey. If you only think that you can make $500.00 a year because you don’t hold a business or marketing degree, then you will see your results slowly progress, but on the other hand if you believe that Wealthy Affiliate is the kingdom and wealth and that financial success is yours to savor, then you will suddenly see commissions rolling in giving you the life of your dreams.

I believe faith, belief and confidence is a muscle that you have to exercise just like you would when starting a new fitness program. If you have low self-esteem, create a confidence journal every day and when the negative beliefs creep in on you, write a positive affirmation cancelling out the negative thought. An example would be, this affiliate marketing journey is too hard and I will never make any money, and your affirmation would be I am learning new material every day that puts me on the road to Wealth. I can feel myself getting richer and more successful each day. I wake up every day looking forward to write my content so that I can live my dream of financial abundance. Affiliate marketing makes millionaires every day and I am so excited that I am one of them. When you affirm exciting statements you create positive energy, and if you follow the Law of Attraction, you know that feelings have the power to create miracles and magic in your life.

The point of my blog is that the road to success includes hard work, dedication, perseverance, but most of all it includes the power of your mind, and believe that you have what it takes to make all your dreams come true. You can work your ass off like no tomorrow and spend hours creating content, but if you are missing the true belief that you can move mountains with your hard work, then you won’t get very far.

I want to see every person at Wealthy Affiliate succeed because I believe that we all deserve to be financially abundant, and I believe that are meant to enjoy all that life has to offer. We are not meant to work every holiday and weekend and miss out with time with our families, and we are not meant to work until the end of our life, only enjoying a few years of retirement. We are meant to enjoy every waking moment feeling like we are living and not just surviving. I know that Wealthy Affiliate can give us the life of our dreams, and it’s up to you use the power of the mind.
