The oldest person that I am aware of here is a nanogenerian at least in terms of physical age, but he has more alert mind than many youngsters here. The demographic for most really successful Internet marketers globally is 50+.
However as you know there are some very successful people here younger than that. It would be a very brave person that would put a cap on anybody's abilities

It is never too old. As long as you can write a coherent post and do it consistently I say go for it.

Just old enough to keep up with some trends (niches).You don't have to hang around teenagers, just make your site mobile friendly- there's a plugin for that.

You will find people of all ages and stages of life here. The training is set up in a way that everyone can follow it.

I use Updraft plugin which is one of the most popular out there. It allows you to backup to your email, google drive, dropbox, and other locations.

I would get a different theme. You shouldn't need to add anything to a theme as a requirement for it to work.
