I have been working hard, all day, on my promotional site for WA. I had just completed my review for Jaaxy and saved it when all of a sudden it and my whole entire site vanished before my eyes.

All I am getting is a blank screen :(

My site is still showing in Site Manager, but I cannot even log-in :(

I have put a support ticket in but so far no response.

To make matters worse my backup for my site is not due till the weekend, so my last post and the one before is in the cyberspace ethers somewhere along with my whole site.

Even though it is only in its infancy I felt I was producing some really great work.

If things have gone totally pear shape then I will also lost my domain name.

It is late here, so I think I will go to bed, maybe things will look brighter in the morning.


UPDATE

Everything is now sorted. Thanks to the WA technical support guys :). If you read my blog 'What's in a theme?' it explains what the problem was.

Hi Jewel, It was very scary and upsetting but the tech guys came through.

I will do a post explaining what had happened.

It is so nice that things are now resolved and back to normal. Thankfully I did not lose any of my work :).

Hey lis! I am so sorry to hear about that. Not that it compares to site-building, but on Facebook today I had a similar experience. I was writing a long "thank you" message to a teacher I had years ago, and it deleted itself every time I accidentally tilted my smartphone sideways. Anyhey, after it happened 2 or 3 times, I got quite frustrated, but thankfully in the end it finally sent, haha.

Needless to say, it can be so frustrating when we put our time into typing something and have our work suddenly not exist. =(
I feel for you for sure, and I hope after a decent sleep you feel rejuvenated and ready to take your project on again! =) Who knows, maybe this time it will turn out even better than the first time you wrote it. ^_^

Luckily I did not have to do a rewrite as the tech guys managed to resurrect my site. Things are now good again.

Lis, It's going to be okay. Most of us have gone thru a technical glitz. I'm sure tech support will find and solve the problem. Get a good nights rest and All will be well in the morning.
