My WA Family Has NOT Been Forgotten
Today, I got a PM from Dreamer56 asking if I was all right. While I was answering his PM, it got me thinking that I should tell everyone else where I have been and what has been going on with me. All is fine. Below is a list of what I have been up to recently.
I am trying to get 3 worthy organizations for my donation page to link to permanently. I have only one so far. Their work with pets is amazing. I want to include one for wild animals (thinking PETA) and one for farm animals (hopefully CIWF)
Another thing I have been doing is trying to get more material for the educate yourself page. I want to. While I am not a fan of zoos, the San Diego Zoo site is fabulous when it comes to educating people on animals.
I have just had to deal with a person on Fiverr for a new logo. While the woman I worked with did finally do the logo exactly as I wanted it, the process was painful. She claimed she was fluent in English but spoke very little in actuality.
I am also looking to work with a company who will make custom items for me to sell on my donation page. 1/3 of every item purchased will go to one of the three organizations as listed above. I want decent quality but do not want to pay three fortunes for them.
I had my mentor, Scott, look over my site and he made a few suggestions that I took on board. So that meant making a lot of changes on my site.
I want to change my theme because I am not happy with the menu bar on the one I have. I have been putting this off because I am scared to mess my site up.
As you can see, it is not because I don’t miss each and every one of you but I have been very busy working on my business.

It is coming together slowly, Alexander. I am in no rush to monetize because right now it's more important to get the word out about animals than making money. Though, if anyone wishes to donate, I will gladly accept it LOL

I have the same problems concerning a new theme Lisa - I have no idea which one to go for and I am nervous about making the switch because of the extra work it might involve. I do actually like the theme I have but I think it may be the reason for my site loading a little slowly
Pauline, my site seems to load fine. The main problem I have with it is that my menu bar will only hold 3 items per row. I want to have one row only. Visually, it would be better that way. I am terrified at the thought of changing it.
