I haven't touched my site for a few weeks now and it has been annoying me! Life has taken over and I was sure I was going to plan my time better and fit this in but I haven't.

Hey Lisa,

I have dropped out on things before and it resulted in that I changed my niche completely and basically started from scratch with a new domain and site.
That worked for quite a while until real life caught up with me. Since then I had to reduce the amount of articles.

But the main thing here is that you can make the walls yourself. While you make your own walls by saying stuff like wordcount or amount of articles per week, you can also put those same walls down and say, "hey, I can write some content today because I got time" and the next day not write.

Here are some tips:

- go for 500 words or more if you manage, but most importantly write as much as you want to say and not more. If that ends up at 300-400 words its fine too.
- the 1500 word count is an average within SiteHealth.
- when you got time and creativity and motivation to write, WRITE. Write lots of articles in one day. Publish only one. Keep the rest for another day.
- publish two - three times a week at least.
- publish on regular days, for example monday, wednesday and friday -> or monday, thursday, saturday.
- Use the OnPage SEO
- fetch and index on Google Search Console

Thanks so mich for your support, it's really helped me and think I can sort things out a bit better. It's great support on here but you wonder if you are doing it all ok!!

Thanks again,

Lisa

Hi Lisa. Throughout the journey of being my own boss, I found myself being distracted, discouraged, frustrated, almost give up, etc... And I think (and I hope) it is normal. One of the growing process of becoming an entrepreneur. That's why self-development is a big thing in entrepreneurship because things can get tough! But the key is not to give up. You WILL see the result, and the reward is not just a financial benefit, but also you will see how far you grew. To me, it has been the most amazing reward (and I still need to grow more!).

The good thing is you are surrounded by the group of people who go through the same pain and frustration as you, but still keep going, encouraging each other. Just stick with us!

You don't need to write a blog with 1500-2000 words a day! I certainly don't! The consistency is the key. You can still pick it up and continue! Don't give up! :)

Thank you so much, you've helped me loads and I'll get back on it!! I was feeling uncertain that I'll ever make anything from this!

Positivity from now on and I'll keep asking the questions!!

Thanks again,

Lisa
