One of the things that I like to do in between lessons (tasks) is read current event headlines. A popular trend at the moment is travel during the summer season. More and more people, according to National Geographic, RV's are very popular vs flying and staying in motels. Not only are people renting RV's, but because a large portion of people who retired as of late still want to travel or have decided to downsize. Also those who are "snowbirds" (people who travel 6 months down south during the colder months and then move north during the summer months) and it got me thinking and then I did a little google search. Gardening on the go. People who still have good size gardens- portable green houses, light weight extendable shelving, and then of course the use your old shoe organizer (with the 12 slots for every shoe of the month) being filled with portable plants (spices and seasonings). The things people come up with is incredible....just a thought

Have you heard anything interesting lately or had any "Aha" moments?

Please share below

Have a great rest of your week

I haven't had any 'aha!" moments that I can think of (then again, it's early morning and my coffee hasn't kicked in yet) but I was discussing the craziness of this pandemic with my family. We talked about how HANDSHAKES will be a thing of the past. We were trying to brainstorm what the next way to greet/say goodbye to someone will be in the near future. We had ideas from putting your hand over your heart to some kind of Star Trek thing someone did with their hand. When someone thinks of the new greeting, It'll definitely be an "aha" moment for me!

In some cultures, people bow to each other, or in the "ealier" days, little girls curtsied and smiled. There is the universal "wave"...I imagine body language and sign language :)

I guess RV could become the new norm as you are social distancing when travelling.

Don't have to wear face masks unless you are parked in areas where other people are at. Starting Friday, Washington state is making it mandatory for people to wear masks in public. We are getting more and more cases.

Looks like the virus is still active. Was hoping this would slow down so we can get back some normalcy.

All I know is that if we learn from history, we are better able to cope. I have been doing some reading on how people got through the Spanish Flue from 1918- it took out several million people and it took a couple of years (not months), but their "normal" never went completely back. We evolve, time always goes and we either pass away or we adapt and in some strange ways, become even better than before. We are "forced", in a way, to grow. It might not feel very good at the time, but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. Try and keep positive and move around if you feel you need to. Explore :)

I agree we won’t go back to normal as before. It would be evolutionary. Sort of a “new normal” as most call it. In this case, we all hope new is better.

Picking trends and finding or creating those products that help people to live their lifestyles can be good business.

With the use of the internet and new technology coming out everyday, possibilities are growing. People are inventing, ideas are coming forth. We all build off of each other in a way.

RV's is a comfy place for a traveler, I have seen different RV's good for 3-4 is my favorite. I want to own one and travel the whole of America. While I do my business on a laptop. And yes, we can create a small vegetable garden in our back yard...

Some Rv's have little shed areas attached for motorcycles or bikes. LIttle compartment for gardening tools and potting plants. If you are going to tour around and you still want to have plants. I had a dream that there were people selling plants out of RV's- traveling gardeners? or possibly a movie I watched-
